poem seven: 11:11

The moon shines into my bedroom through the glass pane

It's 11:11 and you suddenly make your way into my mind

The memories of us making wishes on these stars replay in my brain

When you laughed it was like the starts were aligned

Then one day you decided that it wasn't enough

That day you left with everything, including all of me

I won't lie, it has been tough

It felt like I was drowning under the sea

It's okay, because I believe that I'll get over you

I know that this will all pass

This will soon be tucked in the corner and sealed with the screw

I'm no longer made of glass

Everything will change and I'll be happy again

There will soon be this smile on my face

Don't worry, our past won't die in vain

It's just time for me to go on to a better place
