I stood looking up at the building contemplating walking away and making a run for it, if I didn't have my brothers parked on the street opposite giving me death glares I would have done just that. I turned to see if they were both still there, accidentally making eye contact with Mark, he was the largest of the twins and had the shortest temper compared to Shin, once I'd stupidly answered him back and he'd smashed my face into the wall leaving me with a rather nice scar below my right eye, it's barely visible now but it's a constant reminder not to get on his bad side, mother obviously punished him for damaging her merchandise, for that Mark had always had it in for me would go extra whenever I didn't do as I was told. Sensing that I was staring too long I saw Mark shift in his seat so that he was leaning more towards the door ready to chase me if I made a move, in retaliation I simply saluted him and gave a one sided smile, as I walked in the building I figured I'd regret that later.
I went over to the desk where two young women were answering calls, and waited patiently for them to notice my presence, after a few minutes the one who looked like she hadn't slept in about a month turned to me and smiled, once she got a proper look at me she bristled, probably thinking I was part of the mafia or something, I tried to smile with my eyes to make her relax but I probably just scared her more, I'm not one for smiling. "C'can I help you sir" she stuttered, god am I that scary to people, it's always the damn eyes that get people my natural cold stare alway put people off. I looked away, maybe if I act shy it'll help her calm down
"I umm have an interview with Big hit for 11:00am" her brows furrowed, great she doesn't believe me.
"Name sir" she started typing on her computer probably looking to see if big hit had a meeting with a gangsta or something.
"Err it's Seung-Wong Arin" the girl begin to type quickly onto her keyboard, she stopped once she'd obviously found what she was looking for and looked up at me surprised, I don't know what she'd read but judging by her look she hadn't been expecting it.
"Third floor Mr Seung-Wong, Mr Bang is currently in a meeting but will see you shortly" she pointed elegantly towards the elevator on the right side of the room, indicating that's where I should go, I bowed and did my best to smile at her more warmly this time, she wasn't looking.Once in the lift I checked myself out in the mirrored walls, maybe I should've worn contacts for this meeting so I looked more Korean, but then that might just cause issues in the future. I adjusted the collar of my leather jacket so it sat properly on my shoulders rather then turned up like it had been, I'm glad my mother hadn't insisted on dressing me like she usually did otherwise I'd be wearing some sort of new fashion craze. Instead I was wearing the most casual clothes I had a grey baggy shirt accompanied by black ripped jeans and black vans, I felt the most comfortable in these types of clothes, simple and comfortable and no colour in sight just how I liked it. After I'd finished checking myself out the lift bell dinged indicating I had reached my floor.
As I walked out I looked left and right to get a baring on my location I was in a large open area with smaller Rooms joining onto it. Sat at a desk opposite the lift was another female assistant she looked up and smiled at me when she saw me, rose from her seat with a folder in hand and casually walked over to me. Once she was stood directly in front of me she bowed lowering her head slightly, how strange this was no-one ever bowed to me most of the time they forgot because they were to busy being destracted by my off looks, I'm not going to lie I kind of liked it. I bowed back greeting her politely.
"I'm assuming you're Mr Seung-Wong who we've been expecting?" She beamed up to me, whoever trained her did a bloody good job at it, I'm sure if I had it in me id have blushed at this point however I didn't so continued to stare at her instead. I nodded to her question."I hope I'm not late, I was told the meeting was at 11?" I knew I wasn't late but you know I was trying to sound polite.
"Of course not, your perfectly on time, just take a seat over there and Mr Bang will be with you soon, can I get you any refreshments whilst you wait?" She spoke as she led me to the seating area I shook my head and said I was fine. She smiled again and resumed her position at her desk typing away and filling out forms. Not knowing what to do with myself whilst I waited I just sat tapping my foot to a beat I'd been working on, lightly tapping my fingers on my legs like they were drumsticks. After around ten minutes I heard loud talking and laughing coming from a room to my left, I stood ready to bow out of respect for whoever it was and it was a good thing I did as Bang Pd himself walked out surrounded by men his own age laughing at a joke he'd presumably said I just stood staring, he was short and honestly didn't look like much but damn he gave off this vibe, I felt like he had the world wrapped around his finger and I guess in a way he did, he's managed to create the most famous boy group in Korean history, he must have noticed me silently fanboying as he looked over in my directing and started shaking the others hands slowly making his way over to me, my hands felt clammy so I started desperately wiping them on my jeans so I could shake his hand and leave a good impression rather then a sweaty one. Once he was stood in front of me I bowed lowering my head and when I rose he had his hand out, I shook it hoping he wouldn't feel my nerves through it.
"No need to be nervous I'm not that scary" damn it.
"Of course not Sir, it's just an honour to meet you I'm a huge fan" I really need to just stop. He laughed and indicated towards his room I followed him in.
"So I presume your Manager has briefed you on what exactly your getting yourself in for" I'd barely even sat down before he asked me the question I looked up confused getting myself in for? What but I hadn't even auditioned my mother had just told me I had an interview here nothing else what the hell has she got me into.
"Errr no sir, I mean I was just told by my manager that I had an interview here today and that was about it, what exactly am I getting myself in for if you don't mind me asking" I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.
"Interesting, your mother always was like that, never straight forward or to the point, regardless I'll explain for you" I furrowed my brows confused, he knew my mother personally and still wanted anything to do with me, maybe he was crazy, insane even.
He reached into his drawer and pulled out a document that looked like the one my mother had, had.
"Now your mother has done all the hard work for you, I've seen everything I need too to feel confident that you are the perfect fit we've been looking for all this time. It quite simple I want you to join a group" I sat staring, mouth agape at him, group? What the hell does he mean group, I wasn't told about any group, I don't do groups, I don't do people. This is bullshit. " now the big thing is it's not just any group I'm putting you in, and it won't be easy trying to accumulate yourself into it but your mother stated clearly that you'd have no issues, the group I want you to be a part of is my pride and joy BTS" he turned the documents towards me and clearly there it stated that I would join the group as the 8th member.I just stared.
I stopped breathing.
What the FUCK! is happening.
