Unwelcome - chapter 4

~Namjoon POV~

It was rare that Bang PD called us up personally, but I could tell this time it was something urgent, the tone in his voice was a mixture of excitement and nerves so whatever it was must be big.

It was one of the rare occasions where we all were off and had a lot of free time, we'd all been fairly busy of the last few years producing Albums consistently, travelling the world touring and going to event after event in a number of different countries, we'd made it big time and don't get me wrong we appreciated it massively, but it was nice to relax finally, well I would be relaxed if I wasn't worried about what Bang had in store for us, I could see the others felt the same as we sat in the waiting room. Yoongi was sat scrolling on his phone, he did that most of the time but he'd been scrolling that same page for about ten minutes. Tae couldn't keep still and neither could Hobi they were both wondering around aimlessly in circles occasionally saying something to each other. Jungkook sat next to me almost touching my shoulder he was so close, I could tell he was nervous he kept jiggling his leg up and down, I lightly bumped my shoulder on his and he smiled as best he could at me. Jin and Jimin were running late something about them being stuck in traffic because they went to go get ice cream, hopefully they'd make it on time.

The second I thought that Bangs secretary came to get us I explained Jimin and Jin absence, but Bang already knew and said it was fine he'd catch them up when they got here. 

When we walked in I instantly noticed the scruffy looking guy in the corner, not that I could miss him the second we entered the room he flew out of his chair and bowed till his forehead nearly touched his knees, I bowed back, he can't have been much older then me couple of years maybe.
Perhaps he was a new employee and Bang was introducing him to us? No he's never done that before, new manager? Nah one we didn't need another one and two we would have been warned plenty beforehand.

We all tentatively stood behind our chairs and bowed deeply to Bang Pd, he waved his hand to say for us to sit and smiled brightly at us, there was something in his eyes though like he was trying really hard to hide something, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on edge.

"It's a shame Jimin and Jin can't be here but it can't be helped, Namjoon catch them up when they get here I'd stay but I have other business after this" he nodded in my direction and I did so back acknowledging his request. "Now I can see your all nervous and there's no need to be" everyone's shoulders relaxed. "However I do need you all to be open minded about what I'm going to say" and we all stiffened again, Bang stayed quiet for what felt like minutes thinking carefully about what how he was going to say what he'd say, I'd never imagined he would say what he did though.

"I'm adding a new member" he stated matter of factly, Both mine and Yoongi's head shot up startled Tae stood shoving his chair back he looked angry, Hobi grabbed his sleeve trying to get him to calm down, asking him gently to sit down although even his face read that he was unhappy, Jungkook looked like he'd been slapped round the face and was about to cry. what the hell was he thinking! We didn't need another member what would it achieve adding someone now, we'd worked hard for what we have achieved and now someone was just going to walk in and claim it as their own, no I wasn't going to let it happen not as the leader.

"Bang Pd Nim with all due respect, I can't agree to this we don't need another member" I pleaded looking at him straight on.

"I agree we're fine as we are" Yoongi chipped in. Bang shuffled the pile of files in front of him obviously trying to find a reason not to look at our disappointed faces.

"I'd planned for you to be a group of eight to begin with but could never find the perfect eighth person, now I have and you will except him do you hear me" the last part he said with a deeper tone looking up at us he wasn't smiling anymore, this wasn't a matter we could argue and he'd made that clear.
