chapter 11- Deeper than cuts

She tilts your head to the side and you blink. 

          "Look, just leave him out of this. He hasn't done anything wrong." You say and frown. She laughs. A twisted sound within a broken record. 

      "Oh, I'm not going to hurt him physical at all. To get to him I'm going to have to go through you. Which means I have to hurt you to hurt him." She replies. She moves your (h/c)locks away from your neck. She frowns as she sees a bandage wrapped around your neck. She rips the bandage off, her eyes landing on the cut engraved in your skin. 

      "What? How?" She mumbles obliviously shocked. You frown as a ping of sadness stabs your heart. 

    "Cole." She looks at you in pure horror. 

   "Cole? He did that?" You nod your head. 

   "But why?" You shrug your shoulders. 

  "I don't know. It kinda just happened." 

   "Nevertheless, I can still hurt you despite, everything." She fishes a combat knife out of her high heel boot and lifts your chin up with the blade. You growl at her. 

     suddenly, the door opens. Kou and some other girl with green locks steps into the room. The girl grins at you like a child looking at a new stuff animal or teddy bear. A light gray dress hugs her skinny frame while black gloves hug her tiny fingers. She walks up to you and sits on her knees you in front of you. She looks up at you as you watch Kou walk up to a corner in the room and lean his back against the wall. 

     "You can't acutally hurt them." She says. Then, her eyes land on the cut across your skin. 

     "Did you do that?" She asks. Rosa rolls her eyes while tilting her head toward her. 

      "No." 

      "Then, who?"  She raises an eyebrow. 

     Rosa rolls her eyes and slips the knife back in her boot . The strange girl grabs your chin and examines the cut. 

    "Cole, did that." 

    "Really?" 

    "Yeah." 

    "This is perfect." She grins evil and lets go of your chin. She roughly grabs your arm and pulls you up to your feet. She drags you to the door and kicks it open. 

       You look back to see Rosa follow you and Kou is gone. You raise an eyebrow. She drags you down the hall takes a right turn and out another exit. 

     She leads you to a van and opens the door. She pushes you into the vechile. Then, herself and Rosa get into the car. The engine starts causing the van to accelerate forward. 

     "Where are you taking me?" 

    "To pineview forest." 

   "What? You can't do that? that place is haunted. It changes anyone who enters that place forever." You exclaim. Rosa smacks you aside the head. 

     "ouch." You mumble. 

   "That's the point, stupid." She snaps at you. 

     
     {Twenty minutes} 

     You shiver as you glance behind you. Skinny trees surround you completely. Smoke covers the ground making it hard to see where you going. You can't even see any sunlight shining through the treetops. The girl pushes you roughly. You stumble forward from the impact. You lose your footing and fall forward. You tumble forward and roll down a steep hill. Sticks and random rocks stab into your skin  and you hit a tree. You cry out in pain as something stabs in your leg. 

    You push yourself up to a sitting position and lean your back against a nearby tree. You glance around to see smoke in every direction. You can't see anything beyobd your feet. You glance down at the ground to see the remains of a dead deer. You cover breath and push yourself up to a standing postion. Suddenly, the tree atuomatically start to sway back and froth. You immediately notice claws marks appearing in the tree trunks around you.
