School has been great! This year I started the 3rd grade. Mom also loves the school year. She says she loves to see her children growing and having fun, but we all know she just wants to see Lane gone. Today we started our very first essays! In the 2nd grade, we just wrote those one paragraph responses that they called essays. This year, we get to write multi-paragraph essays that actually have an opinion. I am already really good at them, I have been doing this for a while. I also get to ride a bus to the middle school on Wednesdays and take all my classes with middle schoolers. I think I could do 6th-grade work, but I am currently stuck with 3rd-graders. It is what it is, and the school board had already declined.

Travis proposed to Mom, I am not sure what my opinion is. He seems nice, and of course, I was polite, but it seems sketchy. I mean, a week? But of course, Mom is so desperate that she didn't care. I feel like he is going to end up taking all our money, or us taking his. I don't care, as long as Mom is happy!

Later we ended up going back to his house, I guess for some party? I was utterly confused during the whole get together. I don't mean to be rude, especially in writing, but Travis is. . . weird. Who just goes to their newly befriended girlfriend's house and acts like he knew them for years. And it doesn't help that he just started taking things like food as if they were his. It almost seemed that THEY ALREADY KNEW EACH OTHER!? Well, maybe, nah, they wouldn't, right? No, of course not, Mom couldn't keep a secret to go back in time and not adopt Lane.
