"How do you even walk in these?" I ask Sabrina as I try and walk around in her room in a pair of black three inch heels that she let me borrow.

"You just learn," She laughs. I could never get use to walking in something like this.

"Thank you for doing this for me," I say as I take off the heels.

"You don't have to thank me. We're friends, remember?" She asks.

"Yeah, still. Thank you."

"You're going to make me cry," She laughs and then hugs me.

"Enough. Let's get ready," She says as she heads into her closet and comes out with three different dresses.

"See any that you like?" She asks.

The first was a black sweater dress with three quarter sleeves. It was cute, but not the look I was going for tonight. The second was a short red dress with diamonds along the neckline. The third was my favorite. It was short, black, strapless, and had a diamond belt to go along.

"I like this one," I say holding up the third choice.

"Great, now go and try it on," She says before disappearing into her closet again.

I go into her bathroom and put the dress on.  I went back into her room and went over to her full length mirror. I hated to admit it, but I looked good. I put on the heels that she let me borrow and did look at my self a little more before Sabrina reappeared in a mini red dress that she had to keep pulling down.

"You look hot," She says and I blush.

"Thanks, you look great, too," I say.

"Thank you," She smiles before going over and digging in a jewelry box for some red earrings.

"So, what did your mom say when you told her about the party?" She asks.

"Uh, I..didn't tell her I was going to a party. I told her I would be with you, but I left out the party stuff," I say as she fixes her hair.

Sabrina's phone vibrates and then she picks it up.

"Danny's here!" She says loudly and I smile.

"Cheer up! We're going to have fun tonight, okay?" She says before taking my arm and leading me downstairs.

"Okay," I say as I follow her downstairs, being careful not to fall.

When we get outside, we see Danny standing next to his car.

"Danny, you remember Kourtney?" She asks as he nods.

"Oh, yes. The girl who thought I was hitting on her," He laughs as my face heats up.

"I'm sorry about that," I say feeling embarrassed.

"It's okay. I get that a lot," He laughs.

Sabrina and I climb into Danny's car and Sabrina scoots next to me.

"Selfie." She smiles as she takes a picture.

"Ricky, you remember Kourtney," Danny says.

"Yeah. Nice to see you again," He smiles.

"You too," I say back.

"So, anyone special in your life?" Danny asks and then I realize he was talking to me. Yes. Kind of.

"No," I say quietly.

"Well, we need to change that," He smiles.

About fifteen minutes later, the car comes to a stop.
