It was a peaceful night And all throughout the house, not a creature was stirring, not Even a- wait wrong story. But regarding that at least one creature was stirring in her sleep and that creature was Romelle.

She kept on twisting and turning, moving here and there. She couldn't sleep at all no matter how hard she had tried, it wasn't from a nightmare or too much caffeine, she just couldn't sleep.

The blonde sat up and took a look at her clock on the beside table, it was now already 3 Am. She sighed. "It's been all these hours and yet I can't seem to get a single minute of rest.... that's just great..." she partially whispered as she plopped back onto her pillow, looking at the ceiling for a bit before getting up off of her bed and looking out of the window, admiring the stars and colors in the sky, and looking at the city below.

Romelle and her long time girlfriend Allura had shared a apartment together and they lived happily. They always slept in the same bed together despite them having their own rooms and now since Romelle had been in her room, she had barley gotten any rest during the night.

"I should probably try to sleep again but... what's the use... I want to sleep with Allura but I wouldn't want to wake her up...... hm...."

Little did Romelle know that Allura was having the same sleeping problem. She was awake and up debating wether to go into her significant others room.

After a while of stargazing, Romelle had heard a feint knock on her door, instantly she turned her head and walked to the door to open it and low and behold, Allura was standing there, her snow while hair all messy from all the tossing and turning she had done herself. She had looked like a child in the middle of the night standing outside her parents room to tell them that she had just thrown up.

"Hey... sorry if I disturbed your sleep but..... I couldn't sleep myself so I thought I'd come here- and sleep with you... I know it sounds childish but..."

"Oh no, your fine darling. I couldn't get any sleep myself so I have been up for quite a while and looking out my window.........." Romelle replied as she yawned.

"I guess we can't bear to sleep in a different bed then-" Allura chuckled.

"Perhaps not but my bed is always open for you to sleep in.... unless of course you wanna sleep in yours-" Romelle was about to grab her pillow as Allura threw hers onto the bed.

"Your bed is softer than mine so it's definitely ok to sleep here-" she said as she plopped onto the bed without question, she was pretty exhausted herself.

"Alright then-" Romelle got into the bed after adjusting her pillow once more, pulling the covers over both of them. Allura, bringing Her into a warm embrace. She clearly was in the mood for cuddles and Romelle was just fine with that. She snuggled up to Allura and buried her face into the crook of her neck.

"Alright, get a good sleep honey-" Allura cooed as she kept Romelle close as they cuddled.

"I will sweetheart, I will-" Romelle smiled as she soon started to drift off to sleep. Allura followed suit soon after.

They then slept peacefully through the night and although the next morning they woke up fairly late, they could both agree that it would be better if they continued to sleep in the same bed together. That night and always.
