Hey y'all Cessa here, and I know I've been away for such a long time now and haven't been posting shitty headcanon but I'm back. For a long while, I lost the motivation to write, or to do anything, really, but I was motivated by my friend to continue writing on wattpad. I love y'all n thank y'all so much for supporting this fanfic one shot. Thank you for all the constant support from my amazing readers if y'all are still here. I'll try to update consistently now. Thank y'all so much.*****
*no mist cause why not, I love writing fics with no mist*
When lunchtime comes around, Percy is always alone. Having no friends at school, since Annabeth is now always at Olympus working, and the others having no parents that force them to go to school, Percy is stuck going to school alone.
When he first started school, everyone wanted to be his friend. The girls wanted to make his theirs and the boys wanted to be him, but after a few weeks of getting ignored by him, they surprisingly gave up trying to talk to him, and he became a loner. Not that he cares anyway.
He just wanted to get through high school peacefully and hopefully without any surprise attacks coming his way.
Lunch comes around after another boring morning and he sat down at his usual table at the corner of the cafeteria. He opened his lunch bag and smiled, pulling out a box of sandwichs and Sally's famous blue cookies.
He opened the Tupperware and the smell of ham and cheese wafted to his nose. He mentally sent a prayer to the gods then started to dig in, but before he could even finish the first sandwich, the hair on his arms stood straight and his arms started to have goosebumps.
He felt the slight whooshing of wind beside his ear and he immediately reached towards his ear and caught it before harm could be inflicted on him.
The cafeteria was now silent with whispers, staring at the silver arrow Percy caught beside his head.
Before Percy could even think, a loud voice interrupted his thoughts "PERSEUS JACKSON, GIVE ME MY FUCKING DAGGER BACK!"
They all turned around to the cafeteria doors to see a girl with black hair and blue highlights glaring at Percy with her shocking blue eyes. She looked badass with her circlet glinting in the sun, her death to barbie shirt, and combat boots. Not to mention, her bow and quiver made her look even scarier.
"Thals, hey, what are you doing here?" Percy grinned, standing up from his seat, popping the last bite of sandwich into his mouth.
"I WANT MY DAGGER BACK!" She stormed across the cafeteria and stood in front of him.
"You don't have to yell it! Just say it nicely." he stuck his hands in his pocket and looked at her.
"Honey, you have no idea what's coming for you," she smirked, eyeing his lunch, and before anyone could respond, she snatched his box of blue cookies and held it away from Percy.
Percy gasped, "you wouldn't"
"Oh, I will. I'm going to slowly devour all of the cute little blue cookies in here before I get my dagger back."
"Fine!" he groaned and placed the dagger on Thalia's outstretched hand, "Give me my cookies back."
"Ok!" she grinned, taking one of the two cookies and finishing it in a quick second. She put the box on the table and smirked at Percy.
Percy stared at her with his mouth hanging open and his hand pointing at the now half-finished cookie box.
"THAT'S IT!" He yelled and pulled out Riptide.
He took the first swing and aimed it and Thalia's head but she pulled out her short sword from her sheath and quickly blocked the strike. Seeing the two cousins going pulling out their weapons and fight, the other students started to scream. Even the teachers were scared, not knowing what to say.
"Whoops!" Thalia laughed, seeing the distressed state the kids are in.
"Oh great, my mom has to find me a new school now." Percy groaned, capping his sword and watching it shrink back to his pen.
"Sorry dude," Thalia put her short sword back into its sheath.
"Nah man, it's fine. This school is shitty anyway." Percy laughed and handed Thalia a sandwich while grabbing the blue cookie and finished it in quick bites.
"Well, I should head out. Two kids of the big three together is bad news." She laughed.
Percy mocked saluted her as she turned around but suddenly they heard a large crash through the wall.
"I SMELL THE SCUM OF POSEIDON AND ZEUS!" a loud voice boomed, scaring off them.
"Oh great, monsters!" Thalia sat down and pulled out her bow, "I'm so tired right now."
The minotaur stood in front of them with three hellhounds behind him.
"This has to be the hundredth time I have killed the minotaur." Percy pulled out Riptide again unwillingly.
Thalia scooted her chair backward and aimed at the hellhound. In a quick motion, she shot the arrow and it hit the hellhound right in the middle of the eyes, and it crumbled into dust. Percy ran forward and looked at the minotaur. He smirked and without any warning jumped onto the back of the minotaur and with one slash, decapitated it and it too crumbled into dust.
By then, Thalia has already finished off the other two Hellhounds.
Percy turned around and saw the other students' astonished faces.
The two cousins looked at each other and started to laugh.
"I should go and get my resignation form." Percy grinned and gabbed his backpack and his unfinished lunch, walking to the admissions office and ignoring the stares of the others.
"Ooooo I'll go with!" Thalia followed Percy and out of the Cafeteria doors.
>and here I will add the cheesy line that ends a Percy Jackson Oneshot
The students still gawked at them in awe, wanting to bombard them with questions, but they never saw the two kids ever again.
