*Burning Maze spoiler ahead
Percy Jackson walked into Goode for the first time in years. Gone, was the nerdy ADHD boy who was bullied every day. He was now strong, lean, and filled with sorrow.
Boys wanted to be him, and girls want him. He refuses party offers, declined dates even from the nicest girls, since he has a girlfriend, and makes no friends.
He was the most popular, the hottest guy in school, but he never acknowledges the fact.
Things started to change, when one day, in history class, they learned about ancient Greek. Learning about Tartarus when he started shaking violently. Sitting in the back, no one realized, but when they started talking about Lupa, he broke down and started holding his head and screaming.
"I didn't know his PTSD is real," the teacher whispered.
After that, Percy was excused from all Greek classes.
People started looking at him as the weird, freaky guy who has PTSD.
They know that something bad has happened to him, but they just don't know what.
They almost never see Percy other than at school, he never mentioned his other friends, despite a picture of a blond girl with grey eyes pinned inside of his locker.
People didn't talk to him. He liked it that way.
It was a rainy day. Ironically, Percy Jackson was on a foul mood today.
He snapped at everyone who looked in his way. Bags were under his eyes as his hair was disheveled, somehow making him look even hotter if that was possible.
It was lunch when a white van pulled up in front of the school and a girl with a death to barbie shirt hopped out, a circlet on her head that doesn't quite compliment her whole personality.
Ignoring the school security guard's protests, she jumped over the fence surrounding the school with ease and stormed into the school.
People are looking at the wet and angry teen trying to control her breathing and glaring at everyone.
"How can I help you miss?" A teacher asked the girl timidly.
She ignored the question when her eyes focused on a senior and marched over to him, grabbed onto his collar, and snarled, "WHERE IS PERCY JACKSON."
The guy, even when he's a head taller, looked scared and pointed at the courtyard, "Under the tree ma'am."
She dropped him to the ground. And focused her glare on the tree.
People were gathering around here now, as they followed her out of the school into the pouring rain.
Never before, has Manhattan been in this kind of rain. Thunder rumbled continuously, rain pouring down like there's no tomorrow, and the wind was blowing rapidly.
The weather forecast predicted a sunny day with a bit of a light rain. This, this, was out of the ordinary. No one has ever experienced this in Manhattan.
Percy Jackson leaned on the tree trunk, his lunch was untouched, and soggy because of the rain. He was drenched, even under the protection of the tree. His t-shirt stuck to him like a second skin, and the girls stared the outline of his abs.
His calm in the storm was interrupted when the girl screeched, "PERSEUS JACKSON, WHY? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME? WHY DID I HAVE TO FIND OUT MYSELF? I THOUGH YOU SWORE TO PROTECT HIM!"
He turned around to face her, his eyes now a murky green color, the color of polluted sea.
"It's quite ironic isn't it, I'm standing under a pine tree," he said quietly.
"STOP AVOIDING THE QUESTION, WHY?" She yelled again, her voice breaking and fighting back tears that threaten to fall out of her eyes.
He seems to be struggling as well.
"I'm sorry Thals. I couldn't be there to protect Jason, like I couldn't protect Bianca, Silena, Berkendolf, Luke..." he broke down to tears
"I- I- I'm sorry Thals, that I didn't tell you about his death. He's your brother. Y- y- you deserve to know it. I'm sorry."
"Jackson..." She whispered, crouching down and held him close.
They both cried in the storm. Their heart ached for their best friend, their brother, their family.
The other students watching the scene stood unmoving. They never knew Percy has been through this much. The next day, Jackson's locker was cleaned out and a new student moved in. Even though they have never seen Percy Jackson again, that day was still imprinted in all of their minds.
No teen should be burdened with so much pain.

Sorry.
I'm just going to leave it like that.
You guys crying, me crying.
