"Hey, Romeo what do you want to do today?" I said sweetly walking over to where Romeo was sitting. It has been a pretty easy couple of days so we have just been chilling and hanging out.
"Hmm...let me think. Why don't we swim in the creek today or something like that?"
"That sounds perfect!" Romeo's face lit up like a lightbulb. I just laughed at his enthusiasm as I grabbed his hand. "Calm down fireboy."
He blushed at the nickname and gave me a bashful smile. He nodded and we started walking to the cave where we have been living for the past week. It took a few days to get everything set up, but we have really made a comfy little space for us to survive in. I walked behind a giant rock so that I could change into my bathing suit.

Romeo already changed into his swimming trunks when I walked out from behind the rock. I have seen Romeo with his normal clothes on but I have never seen him shirtless. My face turned redder than Erza's hair and so did his as we saw each other.
"S-so um...nice bathing suit." Romeo stuttered while trying to hide his blush.
"You too..." We both stood for a moment and regained our senses as we joined hands, and walked to the small stream, just big enough for someone to swim in. I jumped in without a second thought, making a somewhat big splash.
"Hehe...your splash was so small." Romeo laughed and I just pouted.
"You think you can do better fire boy?"
"Oh I know I can."
"Then prove it," Romeo smirked at me before backing up so that he could get a running start. Hmph...I'll show his cocky tail. RIght, when Romeo went to jump I sent a breeze of air making him lose his form and fall straight into the water. He barely made the water move. Romeo glared at me when he came to the surface of the water.
"Hey! You cheated!" Romeo stated and splashed me with water.
"Eek! Why you little..." I splashed him back and that was the beginning of our water battle. It was so much fun but after a little while we were both tired and the sun had started going down.
"Hey, Wendy wanna call a truce? The sun is starting to set and we need to get some food cooking." I nodded at him and swam to the shallow edge of the stream. I got out of the water and used my magic to dry myself off and did the same to Romeo when he got out.
"Thanks." I gave him a bright smile before turning to walk back to our campsite. I started walking but was pulled back by strong force. I found myself in Romeo's arms and seen what he was pulling me from. Right where I was about to step there was a rainbow snake, one of the deadliest snakes in Fiore. Romeo shot some fire at it killing it and earning us some meat tonight. "Heh. Now we're even."
I was stuck in a trance as he set me down to pick up the snake. That was so cool and awesome...I can't believe he just saved me. I thought about what just happened as I followed Romeo back to the campsite.
"Wendy?"
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Romeo calling my name. "Uh yeah?"
"Do you think you can get the stew mix started while I skin the snake." I nodded and got some of the tomatoes that we still had left from our supply bags. I started cutting up some of the vegetables that we had left and put in them a small pot of boiling water that hung over the fire Romeo had made. I let the food settle while I watched as Romeo put the cut up pieces of snake meat into the pot.
"Now all we have to do is wait for the food to finish cooking," I said with a smile.
"Yeah...I had fun today. Even though you cheated." Romeo smirked at me as I elbowed him in the stomach.
"Only because you got cocky. Cocky people never win."
"Well, neither do cheaters." I scoweled at him and he just laughed.
"You know your cute when you're mad."
"Haha very funny," I stated sarcastically and he just looked at me seriously.
"I'm serious Wendy. Your really cute and adorable, especially when you are glaring or pouting." I just blushed and he smiled at the fact that he made me all flustered. I just pouted and turned the other way.
"Meanie." I joked but he turned my face to face him. Before I knew what was happening Romeo kissed me. It took me a moment to realize what happened then I started kissing back. The kiss was nice...better than nice it was incredible. He broke the kiss and looked at me.
"I...um I...sorry...I don't know why I did that. I..." Romeo couldn't think of anything to say but he didn't have to say anything.
"Shh...you talk too much." He smiled at me and I kissed him this time. We sat there for a moment just enjoying what was created before I smelt the food.
"The food is done." Romeo just laughed and we ate some food before getting ready to go to sleep. We cuddled for a while before slowly drifting off to sleep.
NO POV
"So Mavis, ready to pay up for that bet?" Cana smirked at First master Mavis as she just grumbled and handed her a bag of jewel.
"I cannot believe I lost. How did you know that it was going to be Bixanna, Elfgreen, and then RoWen?"
"Never doubt the magic of Cana Albernez!" Cana said as she downed another bottle of booze before predicting her next pick in the gambling battle against the first master.
Mavis POV
"I think that Nalu and Gruvia are going to happen next," Cana said with full trust in herself. Hmm...she got lucky the first time, but I know that Cappy is going to be the next couple and I am hoping that Gale happens after them because I am almost outta money.
"I bet that Cappy happens next and after them, Gale will follow."
"You're on!"
"May the best one win," I said and went back to watching the lacrima feed. Hopefully, I am right.
