"You're trembling, Rick. Calm down." Angelo said as he helped me fix my tie. I couldn't do it myself becase I was shaking so much all day I almost dropped my glass of water this morning.
"I-I'm so s-scared. Is he g-gonna leave m-me?" I asked, on the verge of tears. I kept having thoughts about him leaving me at the alter or him calling me saying that he's calling off the wedding and he can't do this anymore.
"Don't think like that.." He said, finally done with my tie. He grabbbed a brush and started to brush my hair.
"I should've dyed my hair last night. My roots are showing." I said, nervously running my fingers through my hair.
"It makes you look sexy, hush up." He said, chuckling. I blushed at the fact that he just called me sexy, but it's in his nature. He calls me sexy all the time. "Now you look like a tomato because your cheeks are red as fuck."
"Fuck you." I said, looking down making my hair fall over my cheeks.
"Hey, look at me." He said, turning the chair around. I bit my lip but did what he asked me to do. We locked eyes and just stayed there like that for a good minute, until he finally broke the silence.
"Can I do something before I give you away?" Yeah, he's going to be walking me down the isle since my parents aren't going to be here to see this. "
"O-Of course." I said, curiously. He put a hand on my cheek, leaned in, and kissed me gently. He finally kissed me. He quickly pulled away and cursed at himself underneath his breath. "I am so sorry." He said, sitting down on the floor in front of me. "I-I just couldn't resi-" I cut him off by grabbing his tuxedo jacket and pulling him up, making my lips crash against his. His eyes widened as he quickly pulled away. "Whoa." He said, a bit out of breath. I giggled and stood up before starting to push him towards the door. "Shoo! I have to write this letter! I only have like, an hour to do this!" He laughed and swatted my hands away. "Okay, okay! I'll go! You don't have long though, so hurry up!" He said while walking out of the door. I took a deep breath and walked back to the vanity, sitting down and grabbing a pen and a piece of paper.
"Dear, Chris. I am writing this letter to say how much I appreciate you. I thank you for not giving up on me, I thank you for coming back before I made that mistake I wouldn't be able to reverse.
In a few minutes, I'll be Ricky Cerulli. I love when I say it, it seems like it was meant to be like that. This all seems like a dream to me. I'm a bit nervous, of course, but who isn't on their wedding day?
Remeber the day we met? How my sister brought me to that concert, and as soon as I laid my eyes on you, I knew it was meant to be. I wish I knew how you looked at me from your point of view, but that's why you're writing your letter too.. I hope. When you kissed me for the first time, I felt happiness surge through me. I felt like I was on cloud 9 and no one could bring me down. And no one ever did. When I'm with you, I feel like I'm at home. I feel safe. I feel no one can hurt me while you're around, and once again, I thank you for that. I thank you for everything you've done for me, and I'm gonna end this letter before I end up writing a novel. But that wouldn't work, because I don't know how to explain my feelings for you in words. To say I "Love" you is an understatement. What I feel for you is more than love. Tonight, I'm going to show you that I love you. I trust you on every level, and I'm ready. I'm finally ready. Just.. Don't be too rough, okay? Teehee.
Now, lemme shut up. I love you, Christopher Thomas Cerulli. And I always will.
Sincerely, Ricky."
