It had been a few months since I marked Xenos. Doc wasn't kidding when he said we'd be more drawn to each other. I feel like I'll lose control sometimes when I'm too close. I noticed he seemed almost afraid of me. He doesn't let me touch him or get too close. Still, he always lingers nearby. When I'm at school, my mom said he waits anxiously by the window. He doesn't eat at all if I'm not home. I know that marking him is for the better, but I'm not too fond of our current relationship.

"Nico. Pay attention!" The teacher yelled. I jolted out of my trance. I wanted my mate. It was hard to focus. I needed to focus for Xenos' sake, but it was so tricky lately, and it wasn't like I had anyone to talk to about it. Since he's come into my life, all I want to do now becomes better. No more partying and being stupid. Especially now.

I began to feel more anxious suddenly. I sat up and walked out of the classroom. The teacher yelled behind me. I just needed some air to calm down. I quickly took off into the woods behind the school and ran. I found a small clearing, undressed, and put the clothes in my backpack. Then I hid it under a tree I've used before when ditching was more regular. I shifted and let my wolf free to do as he pleased. I didn't want to be in control anymore. I was done feeling depressed and angry about my life.

I felt the soil beneath my paws and sniffed the air. Then, I took off running fast and hard into the woods. I needed to hunt. I ran for a few miles until I caught a scent. It was familiar. So, I took off after it.

I came across a central camp. It was that Beta from before and discovered they've been lingering around the territory. My territory. He was alone, and it was apparent. I jumped out on top of him. The Beta didn't even know what hit him. He didn't have time to shift. My wolf ripped out his throat. I could taste the blood, feel his pulse weaken, and stop on my canines. I dropped the dead body and sniffed around the camp. I marked it up with my urine. This was mine. All of this is mine, and they were not welcome, especially after what they did and after what I knew. They wanted Xenos, after all. The Omega within six packs of us was a rarity.

I sat waiting in the darkness until the Alpha came. He sniffed and paused. He saw the dead Beta on the ground. He ran over to the body screaming. It was a scream that was music to my ears and my sign of continuing to rid our territory of these parasites. I crept out from the darkness snarling. He quickly turned to look at me, growling. He ripped off his clothes and shifted back into the grey wolf. My mind flashed to when he had attempted to murder my mate. Then to that night, where he violated me repeatedly, laughing at my pain and humiliation. I wasn't that same naive wolf anymore.

"You thought you could cross me and get away with it!" I growled.

"How nice to see you again, faux Alpha!" He retorted back.

"Do you like the present I left you!? It's a glimpse into your future!" I lept at him. He jumped at me. My wolf was bigger and stronger than his, especially now. We clashed together, biting and growling before backing off for a moment.

"You're in my territory, rogue!"

I grabbed him by his ear, tearing it off. I could hear him whimper at the pain. He realized he wasn't going to win. The wolf took off, and I ran after him. I caught up to him, quickly jumping on top of him. He struggled under me and whined.

"Please, Alpha, don't kill me; I have a mate. I need to care for her. Please spare me. I'm sorry we will leave and won't come back!" He begged. I looked into his eyes and felt myself waver slightly. The Alpha then made the mist of biting hard into my shoulder. I yelped and quickly fell over on top of the wolf. He struggled under me, which allowed me to turn around and pin him. I ripped out his throat; blood splattered everywhere. I felt his body go limp and growled once more. I dropped his corpse, and as those memories coursed through my mind, my wolf took over once more, and in my rage, I bit off his tail as a trophy and decided to head home after marking the camp again. This was all mine.
