What Now?

Rain's Pov:

As soon as night settle, we all enter the barn. After what happen to Guapo the barn was very silent. No one spoke a word to each other. I stayed awake for sometime, One reason was because the bridle was still on me and was making me a little uncomfortable. And two I couldn't sleep "What if Ferd end up the same way as Guapo?"

I knew Ferd was also still awake, since I didn't hear the soft snore's he usually makes when he's asleep. He must be thinking about Nina and the farm. "Oh Ferd I promise you, I'll find a way for us to get back no matter what"

I then heard someone crying and got up just in time to see Ferd comforting Bones. Bone's kept making the excuse that it's his allergies, but I'm pretty sure Ferd saw through that but went along with it. I open my gate softly and walked over to where they were. Watching their interaction.

"Hey I'm really sorry about Guapo. I know you guys were friends."

"Bulls don't have friends, Ferd. Guapo was my competion okay? I'm fine" Bones said and abruptly turned away.

"Oh okay" Ferd was starting to leave thinking the conversation was over when Bones started talking.

"I mean, how many times did I tell him...."You gotta get outta your head man. You gotta control your fears." you know. But he wouldn't listen." Bones finish with a sniff "Sorry"

"Its okay to feel bad. Bones" Ferd said sincerely

"You won't tell this to anyone about this, will you?"

"I won't say a word. But if you ever wanna talk about. I don't know allergies? I'm around."

"Thanks, Ferdinand." Bones said with a small smile "You're okay."

"I'm glade everything worked out at least Ferd made another friend. He always had the ability with his caring, gentle nature make others feel good, no matter what"

"Hey, Ferd, look....If you don't want to end up like Guap... you gotta get your horns in the game man. That's the one thing Valiente got right" Bones said to Ferd.

"I hate to admit it but he might be right Ferd." I said letting them know that I was standing there the whole time.

"Rain! Uh.. how long were you standing there" Bones ask with an embarrassed look on his face.

"For a while. Don't worry I won't say anything. And you guys should get some rest." I said looking at both of them

"Sure thing Rain" Ferd said and I was starting to leave to got back to my stall.

"Umm Rain" I heard Bones called and I turned around to look at him.

"If its not much can you uh sing a song like before" Bones ask with a small embarrassed look on his face and started to ramble "You don't have to if you don't want -"

"Sure" I said with a small smile on my face.
