Rain's Pov:

My mind went blank. From the moment those words left Rosa's mouth. It didn't seem real at first, all this time I was wondering what happen to my parents and here I am about to get the answers I have asking all my life. I felt like break down right then and there but I manage to keep myself together.

"Who" I managed to ask out with a steady voice.

"An old mare name Sasha. Come on I think it's best for her to tell you" Rosa said with a look that seem to show sadness.

"Why are you giving me that look? What's wrong?" I ask and started having a sinking feeling in my stomach. "Did something happen to my parents?"

"Come on." Rosa said solemnly and started walking away.

"Why didn't she answer my question. Why do I have a feeling that something isn't right"I thought and quickly started walking after Rosa. She seem very silent the entire way. Usually when its really quite I don't mind it, but now it's just giving me an unsettle feeling.

I spotted ahead of us a old mare standing alone watching the fouls from a far distance.

"Hey Sasha, I have someone you have to meet

"Hey Sasha, I have someone you have to meet." Rosa said softly and look at me.

"Who- wait Sierra is that you?" Sasha said a almost teary voice. She started coming up to me and look at me closely.

"She doesn't see very well, Once in a while her eyes fail her." Rosa whisper into my ear "I'll leave you guys to talk." Rosa started walking away back to the herd.

"Thank you for letting me know" I called out after her and looked back at the Mare in front of me " My name is -"

Sasha then had a look of realization when she was able to see my face clearly "Wait a minute your the child of Sierra and Storm. Rain was it?. Oh how they would've been so happy to see you all grown up."

"You knew my parents?"

"Yes in fact I'm actually your aunt."

"What!Really?!"

"Yes, oh it would have been nice if they could see you now." Sasha seem to stay silent after saying that, tears threaten to fall from her eyes.

"What happen to them? If it's too painful for you to say-" I began after seeing her in a distress state.

"No..no..its fine. You deserve to know. Just give me a minute." Sasha said and took in a deep breath and let it out. After she seem to be able to collect herself she begins to speak

"A few days after you were born on that field, the human's in their giant bird came down upon the herd. They were forcing us out of land, just for their own greed. Your father (Storm) tried to fight them off but soon quickly realize that he needed to get the herd out of there. He starts leading the herd away from the human's and with you only a day old , your mother tried all her might to have you keep up with the herd. But your mother was cut off from the rest of the herd by the gain bird. She and the rest tried to regroup but it was useless. The humans started herding them into a small corral. But by doing so in a panic the herd began bumping into each other trying to avoid getting into that small enclosure. Your mother lost you in all confusion. She kept trying to call out your name, trying to find you." Sasha paused and look away where the rest of the fouls were still playing around.

"You can hear the anguish, worry, and sadness in her voice. How she desperately tried to find you. The human's kept us there for about a few weeks until they decided to let a few of us go, who knows why. The moment your mother,me and a few other members of our herd got free, We ran to find the rest of the herd. The whole way your mother called out for you, and looked around twice. She was convince you died, you were only a few days old. Without the protection of the herd and your mother's milk, your chances of survival was very slim. When we were able to regroup she was so heart broken and depress she didn't eat or move for days. She....eventually passed away due to....a broken heart. Your father didn't take well your mother's death. He tried to remain strong for the herd but he struggle to accept his mate and daughter is dead. Your fathers brother "Cayden" was able to help your father out with managing the herd. But eventually your father was able to live the rest of his life. He....died of old age. He kept hoping he had more time with you and your mother."

I couldn't help but start crying. My mother and father really did love me. All this time I wonder why I was there all alone. My mother tried to keep me safe, her and father, we would have been such a happy family if it wasn't for the human's whose cruelty took them from me. I couldn't help but feel disgust and anger toward them.I barely manage to regulate my breathing and stop the tears. I stay silent for a while letting all this sink in. At one part I'm relief to find out about what happen to my parents and on the other hand I felt as though the humans took away the life I could of have with my parents.

"But then again, if it wasn't because of this happening, I would have never met Juan, Nina, Paco, Ferd and the rest of the guys. They may have rob me of the life I could have had here but in the end it all worked out. I found family, friends, love, and security" I thought and my anger slowly disappear as I thought about them. I clear my throat and started to compose myself.

"Hmm.....thank you huh Sasha for telling me." I said sincerely

"Oh deary just call me Aunty. We are family after all. The last that is." Sas- I mean Aunty said with sincere tone

"Okay...Aunty" I said testing the word out. "It sounds strange saying it out loud. But it's a nice strange"

"Well what have you been up to all this time?" Aunty asked "How were you able to survive after all this time.?"

"Oh she in for a story of a life time. I wonder how she'll react to me being friends with bulls"
