When L met dazai

The anti deathnote trap part 2

L lied on the deck blood all over his face,and beside him his cake totally messed up,he had a pair of handcuffs in one of his hands and beside him lied watari helpless,followed by the whole kira task force everyone was dead,everyone to assure it i checked L's pulse he had none,i was happy but I don't know why I wasn't able to express it

Then suddenly a pale figure stepped out from one of the rooms
"Light yagami" it said
"Who are you" i yelled from a distance
He was silent until he removed a deathnote from his coat,"i was the one who emailed you,the 3rd kira is me osamu dazai, I always knew you'd never come to meet me,i always knew you'll report this to L first so that he can track down my location,i was one step ahead i came here first not to mention i have done the eye deal,killed everyone and then waited for you to come and you came now I shall be the one and only kira"he removed his deathnote to write my name just when he was about to write,he fell to the ground,gasping to breathe
I moved towards him "you shouldn't have said your name in the beginning of the speech" I laughed louder than i ever did i had my deathnote in my hand, with a pen

Third person POV

Dazai osamu lied dead on the ground,Light kept on laughing because his motive was achieved L was dead too....until a voice echoed in the hall "Light yagami you are under arrest" light's laughing face faded...and then L snatched the notebook from him dazai san handcuffed him,they both were like back from the dead...only if they had died first..it was a trap an anti deathnote trap.light yelled in surprise how could you be alive how are you not dead yet...i wrote your name with my own hands.." dazai made a face and replied "you're not the only one with gifts,yagami",Of course dazai san's ability "no more human" had nullified the ability of the deathnote,and of course the both intellectuals had predicted it before that light would first show up in the task force headquarters rather than meeting the 3rd kira,they used light's mind against him ....light started yelling this is a trap,i am being framed but it was over....light was caught,he was later executed by the government,mesa couldn't accept the fact that light died,she suicided too....it was over light was caught thanks to me and dazai san.

L went to meet light before his execution

"where has your 'justice' brought you"

"You all don't even know what is justice,what are laws and you still claim to be the masters of it,i've killed men who have killed families,slaughtered villages cause that's what they deserved"

"You speak of justice? They killed families and what have you done?what are you different from them you both are murderers,you both have crossed lines,you both deserved punishment,you have killed uneducated men who couldn't get themselves educated due to lack of money,and they were working under gangs to feed their families,you have slaughtered families too light,you are no different from them"

"Crime is no way to get money and feed families,he was wrong and deserved to be killed you can't change my mind,im a god, god of the new world,and humans can never understand gods"

"You are no god,you are just a serial killer,and that notebook is the most dangerous weapon of mass murder,justice is served. Justice will prevail."

Lights final words were "this is the execution of light yagami,not justice,not kira"

And he was thereby hanged
