Chapter 18

Y/N's POV

"You still look as beautiful as ever..."

I looked back and saw the person I haven't seen in years.
A grin spread across my face just as I saw him.

"Lucas!" I shouted as I ran to him. He spread out his arms welcoming for my hug. I hugged him tightly, he eventually hugged back. "I missed you, Lucas. Since when did you get here anyway?" I asked. We parted the hug and looked at him wondering.

Lucas was my childhood friend from New York. We were like five years old when we became great friends. When we were in high school, I started to develop feelings for him but I knew I would be friendzoned so I forgot about my feelings for him. When we graduated college, he had to go to London to work as a doctor so we haven't seen each other for a while. He was taller than me, his hair is jet black and he also have dark blue eyes. He was really handsome and anyone could fall for him.

He smiled at me, "I went here because I heard that you have a vacation here for one month and there will also be a reunion at New York with all our classmates nest month. I had a year off because of all the hard work we all did, since they insisted. I also want to see how my best friend is doing". He ruffled my hair, I pout because of his actions. "Pabo, I told you to stop doing that. It really is annoying" I said slightly annoyed but not really cause I get to see my best friend again. He smirked, "You're really cute when you get annoyed" he chuckled. I slightly blushed at his statement and looked away. "Well, I'm gonna change. When I get back, let's celebrate on you're arrival.

•Mini time skip•

After changing, we all went to a sushi restaurant not too far. We ate all happily and chat so we can catch up on some stuff. When we were done eating, we all decided to go back. It was 4 pm when we were done, so we bid Lucas goodbye and me and Nicole decided to call a cab and get home.

When we got back, Nicole went directly to bed. I just sat at the couch arranging my thoughts. I remembered what I did to Yoongi back then. The thought made me blush, I closed my eyes and lied on the couch, staring at the ceiling. Am I starting to have feelings for someone again? I can't... I shouldn't, I'm afraid for my heart to be broken once again. Because it took me a while for my broken heart to heal. My heart, is as they say, is delicate. One simple mishap and I easily get emotional. I huffed in annoyance to myself and took a nap for a while.

Yoongi's POV

•earlier when Y/n was at the mall•

I went to the mall to buy some food because I was hungry and Jin hyung was busy. I went to Starbuck's, on my way there I notice something that caught my attention.

Y/n...

I saw her in a beautiful dress, she looked beautiful in that dress. I was so lost in my gaze at her I didn't notice my order my ready. I took my order and went closer to the store she was in. This was actually the first time I saw her in a dress. I made sure she didn't see me. I heard she was going to change back but I saw some dude that looked like he was foreign. "You still look beautiful as ever." when he said that, it made my blood boil. I saw Y/n look at him and smiled.

I wish I always made you smile like that.

Y/n ran to him, "Lucas!" she shouted and hugged the guy named 'Lucas'. I scoffed in annoyance, and yes I sorta have a little crush on her but nothing more. I saw them talking and I sorta spied on them to make sure she was safe.

~Time skip~

When 'Lucas' left, Y/n and Nicole have went home so I bought my food and went back to our dorms. When I got back, I went to my room and sat down on my bean bag and started wondering about Y/n. How could someone break her heart without caring how she felt? I suddenly remembered her kiss on my cheek. I smiled at her actions back then. Am I really falling for her? I.... don't know. I wish she knew how much she means to me.

I decided to sleep since I was done with making a new mixtape.

Oh Y/n, how clueless could you be...
