Heartbreak and hatred

Thomas walked into the drama studio to find Newt sat rolling his eyes at the boy's who were crowded around two girls "What's happening?" Thomas asked, Minho stepped away from the circle "Some exchange program, three girls come to the boys school and three boys go to the girls school" Thomas looked at the two girls and raised his eyebrows "You again" Teresa steppers forward "Hello to you to Thomas" she smirked and flicked his forehead, Newt looked away rolling his eyes. Brenda stared at the ground Minho smirked and leaned against Thomas. Newt suddenly jumped down from the stage and walked off, slamming the door behind him "What's wrong with him?" Thomas wondered aloud Winston smirked "Man period probably" Thomas chuckled.
Newt slid down a wall and buried his head in his knees what is this feeling he thought, he hated it, his heart was getting torn out his chest by one of his best friends, who seemed to be a girl magnet. He took a deep breath and tried to keep the rushing anger inside, it felt like he had barbed wire wrapped around his throat from the lump of sadness and anger, his stupid parents didn't help, picking on every single mistake. Thomas was his Salvation, now that has been ripped away from him in the shape of girls and Minho. He ran back into the drama studio everyone was talking and laughing like nothing had happened, Minho was leaned into Thomas's chest (I'm sorry) and Teresa was twirling her hair and laughing at nearly everything Thomas said, Newt felt his heart break, no one noticed Alby and Brenda in the corners staring at the three with remorse in their eyes, Newt took the other corner and joined them in their remorsefulness (is that even a word imao)
~A week later~
That week was amazing for Thomas, he had been able to hang out with his cousin and best friend however, he had missed his crush who seemed distant all week, but when Thomas asked he would say I'm fine, Thomas knew he was lying but he would always get pulled away. Newt wasn't the only one being distant lately, Alby and Brenda were also quiet and not joining in. Thomas finally got rid of Teresa and Minho and decided to find Newt, after an hour of looking in every nook and cranny of the school until he finally found Newt sitting on a bench, alone. Thomas started to approach him when the blonde girl that hugged Newt all those months ago slid next to him and kissed his cheek, Thomas quickly turned away tears started running down his cheeks, his heart was torn out his chest he ran past a confused Teresa not wanting to talk to anyone until he ran into a wall and got knocked out.
