It's the day Thomas has picked to come out and he sits in his room stressing, he hears three knocks and almost tackles a surprised Newt to the ground "You nervous?" The blonde boy asked laughing as he lay on the ground with Thomas's head on his chest "I'm stressed" Newt smiled and kissed his boyfriends head "Hey I was thinking... I might come out to my parents" Thomas looks up smiling "Really? But I don't want you to get hurt or-" Newt shushes him "If it goes wrong I'll call you, but I thought maybe even if it doesn't go wrong I can come over and help you just I don't want you to do the same because I don't want you to get hurt" Thomas smiles and kissed Newt "I love you Newtie" Newt smiled and kissed back "I love you too Tommy"
~Newt's house~
Newt takes a big breath as he enters the house his parents sit on the sofa probably planning how to shoot him down again, he closed the door and walked into the living room "Mum, Dad I have some news" he sits on the sofa "I.... I have a boyfriend- I'm bisexual" his dad shot up "After all we've done for you this is how you treat us! You horrible horrible boy why don't you go and run away with your bloody freak boyfriend" Newt stood up "Don't you talk about my boyfriend like that you asshole!" His dad raised his hand and Newt braved himself until his mum held his Dad's wrist "Newt you better go" she said softly. Newt picked his bag filled with the little stuff he owned up and slammed the door just in time to hear his dads shouts of "WELL FUCK YOU THEN" he takes a deep breath and blinks the tears away before calling Thomas and making his way to Thomas's house.
~Thomas's house~
Thomas anxiously waits sitting at the bottom of the stairs his knee jiggling up and down from anticipation. As soon as he sees Newt's shadow he rushes to open the door and holds Newt in his arms "Hey lets go upstairs for a bit" Newt nods and Thomas takes him upstairs "What did they say?" Thomas asks holding Newt in his hands and stroking his hair, Newt repeats what his parents said and trembles slightly, "Hey it's ok you can stay here for the holidays and weekends" Newt nods and Thomas lightly kisses his lips, Newt kisses back a blush rising on his cheeks.
~Dinner time~
The family and Newt sit around the table eating pizza when suddenly Tegan blurts our "I saw Newt and Thomas kissing!!" Newt goes bright red and Thomas actually falls off his chair in shock. Once Thomas is back on his chair William asks "Thomas is this true?" Thomas nodded and looks at Newt who had his head in his hands hiding "Yes Newt is my boyfriend and, well I'm gay" he sees William hand Emily a ten pound note "YOU BETTED ON THIS!!" He stands up in shock Emily cringed "Well we had our suspicions" Thomas is speechless "I can't believe you guys-" he was cut off by Newt "Tommy don't have a go at them at least they accept you for who you are" Thomas gives Newt a guilty look and sits back down rubbing Newt's back "Sorry" he mumbled. Newt lifted his chin up and stared into his conker brown eyes "Don't apologise it's fine" Thomas smiles and kisses Newt completely forgetting that his family were still in the room. William And Emily look at each other and smile it reminded them of the days that they had just fell in love and Emily kissed her husband. Tegan pulled a face "To much affection!" She said fake gagging and everyone laughed. Thomas looked at Newt laughing his blue eyes full of life never have I fell so fucking hard for someone he thought knowing that he was truly deeply in love with Newt.
