(Y/N POV)

I was walking around the mountain with my (m/w) looking out for walkers then I see a flyer and it said their was a safe haven.

'do those even exist' I wondered

On it it said where to go so I decided to go there and check it out.

When I got there it had some gards and I was a bit surprised of how many there were and then thought their must be quiet a few people here that followed the flyers as well. I decided to approach one of the gards.

"Excuse me is this the safe haven" I said hoping I wouldn't get shot right off the bat because this was the wrong place I also held up the flyer I had.

"Yes it is are you wanting to join us?"
The gard said.

"I am" I replied a bit joyful thinking of their being other survivors.

"Alright well you'll have to surrender your weapons and then we'll get you a house so if you would just come with me we can get that done." The gard said.

I stuck a small pocket knife in my shoe/boot just in case these people try to kill me or something then followed them into a small house that had a couple of weapons I turned over the rest of my weapons. Then a male with red hair and was wearing camo armer came in and the gard straightened up.

"Hello sir we have a new settaler who just turned their weapons in and I'm about to show them to their house."
The gard said pretty quickly making me assume the red head is the leader.

"Hmm alright you can go back to your post I'll take them to their house I've got nothing better to do." The red head said.

"Yes sir." The gard replied then left.

"Hi I'm Red the leader of this place who are you?" Red asked

"I'm (y/n) nice to meet you Red." I replied

just going to say it now Red's actually pretty hot... What. Am. I. Thinking. I can't fall in love with someone I just met he could be a cannibal for all I know.
(Umm...I'm not going to say anything reader~chan.)

"Like wise any way if you come with me I'll take you to your house.

(Time skip brought to you by Red breaking the fourth wall)

It's been a couple of weeks and it's nice here the only weird thing is some people will disappear the gards say the just left but I don't believe that I know it's lies and I think I know where they are as well the meat also tastes and smells weird but that's probably nothing...right? Wrong! Those people that are missing are the meat so I haven't ate any of the meat the only reason I'm still here is because I have a crush on Red even if he is a cannibal.

Speaking of him he walk over to me.

"Hey (Y/N) want to go on a supplie run with me?" Red asked.

"Sure why not." I replied wanting to spend more time with Red.

(Time skip brought to you by the annoying forth wall police)

"Hey Red want some food" I said offering a candy bar.

"I'm good I packed some meat." He said.

I sighed and said "I can't believe I fell in love with a cannibal" under my breath but apparently Red heard.

He pinned me to a tree.

"How did you know about me being a cannibal" he said sternly it scared me.

"I-I'm not an idiot I found clues and if you wanted to kill me you would have done it already." I replied quickly I was so glad no walkers were around I was also blushing because he's got me pinned you would be too be honest.

"Why did you stay if you knew?"He asked making it clear that he didn't hear the "I fell in love with" part.

"W-Well I umm have a crush on you." I said I probably looked like a tomato.

Red just looked at me for a while then kissed me. I of course kissed back.

After we parted he smirked at me and asked" well if you love me so much would you be my girlfriend."

"YES!" I said excitedly and then kissed him again.
