(Y/N POV)
I was a bit new to Nirvana Gates and I made no friends I was kind of a loner after the apocalypse happened I didn't want to get attached to anyone but that plan sorta failed I already have a crush his name is Justin and something I kinda found out is he has a split personality which is interesting anyway I've been keeping track of the days and realized it was July 4th independence day or as some people call it America's birth day and as tradition we set off fireworks only problem is that it's loud and walkers are attracted to sound and light but I still wanted to do it so I was going to ask Justin about it.
"Hey Justin?" He was one of the only people I really talked to.
"What's up Y/N" he responded looking to me.
"I was wondering if we could or are doing anything for 4th of July?"I asked.
"I'm sorry but we can't it could attract walkers if we did anything big." He responded to me.
"What if Walkers do come and I set up fireworks somewhere far and we celebrate that way?" I asked hoping that could work.
"Sorry Y/N but it's to dangerous so no." He responded I was a bit disappointed.
After I walked away I decided I'd set up the firework thing anyway I set it up a decent while away and came back to camp as I was doing things people started rushing to where the main gate was walkers were crowding it why I have no clue I was next to Justin and smirked as I got out the remote to the fireworks and set them of the walkers went towards it as everyone else stared in aw as Justin looked at me and said
"You did the firework thing didn't you?" He asked
"My plan worked didn't it." I smiled and watched the fireworks
As Justin came closer to me he asked "well this is as good as time as ever Y/N would you be mine?"
I was a bit shocked but said yes as I kissed him it was the best 4th of July ever.
