"We are fortunate to have you on our side"
January
"Hawaii? Really?" he asked the young woman as she packed her essentials into her backpack.
"I thought I would fall in love with the cold, but with this situation, I think I might give the heat a chance," she replied.
"I still love it, even with the situation,"
"Isn't that called Stockholm syndrome?" she joked.
"You know what I mean, it beats the Arizona heat," he told her.
"You got me there," she answered.
"So where do you plan to go?"
"Isabella was talking about going around Italy for a while, I might settle in Oregon after, my Italian is still rusty," he told her as he sat on her desk.
"Not bad, and Marcus?"
"He said Germany for a while and from there he'll figure it out,"
"Hopefully he does soon," she said as she put her coat on.
"So this is it huh?" he asked as he put his own coat on and walked out of the base with her. They still walked through the decontamination area, just in case.
"Yes sir, after all of this I need a break, all of it was hard work,"
"You only went out to the field once in a blue moon,"
"You're lucky I didn't let you bleed out," she said angrily.
"And I appreciate it, really," he said trying to not die.
She shook her head, and turned to him, making eye contact, she reached over to his shoulder where the patches were.
"You should keep the jacket, like a trophy for all the good you've done," she said.
"Same to you, we wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for you," he said, she smiled.
She turned around and saw the taxi waiting for her, "Guess I gotta go now," she kissed his cheek.
"Have fun in Italy Andrew," she grinned.
"Take care in Hawaii Olivia," he said.
She entered the cab and rolled down the window to wave goodbye to her partner.

That was 3 months ago. Olivia thought to herself. Her body was sprawled on her hotel bed, K-pop played from her phone as she thought of the memory. No matter if she was partying with the locals or relaxing by the beach, that memory played in her head, it wasn't anything bad, she was just glad she was able to leave The Division on a good note, the place wore her out more than the boots they wore while trudging through the snowy mud during missions. She laughs at the memory of one of her teammates throwing a mud snowball at the other.
She walked out to the balcony of her hotel room and took a deep breath. Today. She thought to herself. I go home today. She turned back and started to pack once more. She threw in whatever she could fit into her backpack. She left the room and looked at her phone, she looked through her contacts she nervously put her finger onto one name, she shakes her head and decides not to. Almost two years since I vanished. She said to herself. That's something he would do, not me. She said to herself again as she signed out of the hotel. She sighed and placed her headphones in. I guess I'll just stick to being Olivia, it will do less damage. She thought as she hauled a cab.
