April

"Statistics report that crime has gone up since the last election, many have said that due to the state's name of 'sanctuary' has brought them to hell from not only illegal immigrants but those who live here too, many have the opinion that giving all these liberations has caused chaos rather than peace, the new mayor of Los Angeles, Fuller, has this to say on the matter-" Olivia turns off her phone as the flight attendant tapped her to let her know that the plane is to land in 30 minutes.

Olivia was nervous at most to come back to her home state, but at the same time excited. Sure the place may have gone down the drain while she was away but that's why she's coming back. Or so that's what she says to herself. With a degree in hand she plans to go back to nursing at the hospital she trained at. The minutes passed on slowly but quickly. She walked out of the plane with her backpack in hand and walked out of the airport, waiting for the next cab. She entered a taxi and gave them the directions needed. She didn't have a home, yet, but she knew a place she could crash until further notice, and not have to explain herself. As the hour passed, Olivia saw some landmarks that reminded her of good memories. However, once the cab turned into the streets where she was heading, it took a dark turn. While she grew up, the streets she was passing were not always so clean, but this was worse, it reminded her of the infected locations she would go to find info on the cure. She shook her head trying to get the bad thoughts out of her head. The taxi stopped at the front of the apartment building, she paid the man and grabbed her stuff. As she stepped out, she saw men and women alike sitting outside their homes, watching her like a hawk watches its prey. She straightens herself out and began to walk to the building, she gave off a vibe of confidence that made some lose their interest in her, others continued to stare her down. As she entered the building finally, she took a sigh of relief and looked for the room she needed. 205 she thought to herself as she stood in front of the door. She knocked on the door. She heard shuffling for a brief second, then a gasp. A number of locks were then unlocked and the door opened abruptly. Olivia made eye contact with the young Asian woman in front of her.

"Long time no see Rose," she joked as the girl, Rose, basically jumped on her and hugged her tightly.

"You're back! You're back! I missed you!" she said delightfully.

"Rose calm down, it's not like I came from the dead," Olivia assured.

"But it kinda feels like it," Rose said as she took a good look at her friend she noticed her light packing and jacket wrapped around her waist.

"Mind if we talk inside?"

"Of course! You are always welcomed," Rose said as they walked in.

"Amazing," Rose tells her as they munched on take-out she ordered.

"So now I'm back so I can go back to normal," Olivia sighed.

"By the way, your jacket, I've seen these people with the same ones," Rose told her.

"Really?" she nods.

"They had the same patches you do, the wings here, some had stars, other had more symbols," she said as she traced the caduceus patch she had on there with her finger.

"Probably agents who relocated, I'm not the only one ya know," Olivia told her as she placed down her plate.

March

"What happened to all your spirit huh 'Andrew' ?" Marcus teased as he sees his partner laying on the couch.

"The jetlag killed it," he groaned turning to look towards the couch, Marcus laughs.

"Rome wasn't built in a day, give it time Marc," Isabella said as she grabbed a couple of beers for the trio and handed one to him.

"Doesn't hurt to plan something out," Marcus told her as he opened the can.

They sat down on chairs adjacent to each other. They currently stayed in a spacious apartment together until they can get their plan together. Andrew gets up soon and walks towards his backpack, taking out a wrinkled old notebook and a pen.

"Oh boy, he's thinking," Isabella nodded in agreement.

He walked back to the couch and sat down as he scribbled continuously onto the notebook. The other two continued to chat and catch up for the moment while Andrew used his brain. After a couple of minutes, he slapped the notebook on his thigh.

"Alright! I got it!" Andrew said confidently.

"Lay it on us captain,"

"So, one; we buy a place to be our base of operations, maybe small since we're gonna be under the name of 'private investigators', then we'll do a little advertising, get the word out in ways that we're here and ready to help, and then the best part, Bella is going to use her skills to help us find some quick jobs to get some street cred on us,"

"Amour that's dangerous," she told him.

"But efficient," he told her, Marcus nods in agreement.

She rolls her eyes but agrees, Andrew cheers, "I'll go see how well my equipment works, plus I have to see if the airport has found our 'luggage'," she told them walking away.
