Chapter 16

Hayes' POV

Why the hell was she ignoring me, i havent done anything wrong. I got up from the leather sofa, then made my way to the kitchen. "Hey Nash wheres Danielle?" i asked as i sat down on the kitchen counter. 

"Why?" he answered. 

"Because i need to speak to her, one minute she was in the living room, casually ignoring me the next minute bang she left!" i sighed. 

To think that i havent done anything wrong. I know i shouldnt have slept with Sienna but i would of got taken the mick out of by all the boys if i didnt. "Well i dont know either, but if she did tell me where she was going, i wouldnt tell you" 

"Why arer you being werid towards me bro?" i asked raising my hands in the air. 

"Because you cant shout and push Danielle around like a doll, she deserves someone who cares about her, not you!" He spat.

"How do you know about that, you werent there?!" i yelled. 

"Sky told me everything, she was watching you two, and you know she tells me everything. Shes the hawk of the house and you know that for a fact!" he yelled back. He picked little Skylynn up and carried her to god knows where.

Now coming to think of it, did Danielle know about what happened between me and Sienna? I couldnt bare to carry on like this. I would have to speak to her about it, no matter what!

I pulled my phone out of my khaki shorts pocket, dialled the number of Danielle and placed it up to my ear. Of course it went straight to answer phone, i should of known. "Hey dude where did Danielle go?" i turned around and saw Matt standing there shirtless. 

"i dont know bro, when did you get here anyway?" i said, i ran over to him and wrapped him into a bro hug. "I got here earlier to come and see you guys, didnt you hear me shouting when i came through the door?" he laughed. 

i let him out of the hug and laughed along with him. "God no!" i repied. 

"So i was speaking to your lover on the phone a second ago..." Matt spoke after about a minute of silence. 

"Where is she?" i asked eagerly.

"Thats what she didnt want me to tell you, but i can tell you one thing.."

"what?!" i practically yelled.

"Shes not going to be the same when she gets back!" He turned around and headed out the door to somewhere.

I got my shoes and headed out the door towards where Matt was heading. He went into a girls shop. A girls clothing store. That must be where Danielle is. I creeped into the shop and watched Matt as he went through a bunch of slut clothing. Has he got a girlfriend or something?

As i was about to head over to him a girl with long black hair tyed back into a pony tail. She had sunglasses on so i couldnt recognise her. "Thanks Matt this means a lot!" she spoke while kissing his cheek.

They picked out a few clothes then headed to the counter to pay. Who was  she? 

Danielle's POV

Yes, i got my hair dyed black. I thought it would be good to have a change. I rang Matt up and asked for him to meet me at Hannahs Boutique. There clothes were quite reavling, but im changing right? 

Im growing up and i can do whatever i want with my life. My mom would proabably disown me but its my life i can do whatever i want to. 

"Thanks Matt this means a lot!" i kissed him on the cheek. 

"Danielle?" he quiestoned. 

"Yep, now lets go pay for this stuff that you got me, i still cant believe your doing this for me Matt!" 

"Thats what friends are for, Hayes was questioning me earlier, but i just said your not going to be the same!" 

 "Aha okay!" i replied. 

Matt kept mumbling stuff to himself as we payed for the clothing items but i couldnt hear what he was saying to well. Once we had payed for the items, we walked outside the store to see Hayes sitting on a bench just opposite, on his phone. 

"Shall we go over to him?" Matt asked me. 

He was so nice and thoughtful, i did have a small crush on him a little while ago, but ive learned to let it slip. 

"Yeah ok, but please dont tell him its me!" i chuckled nervously. 

"I wouldnt anyway girly!" he cheered. 

We linked arms, then made our way to where Hayes was sitting. I tried to not let it slip about me being who i really am, its so hard. 

"Hey Hayes are you alright?" Matt asked him. 

Hayes looked up from his phone, his been crying. He had tear stains all down his cheeks but he tried to play it cool in front of me. "Yeah im fine, whos this?" he questioned. 

"Im his girlfriend!" i laughed a little. I shook his hand and sparks flew through my body. Not being able to rap him in my arms, there and then. 

"Oh, Hiya!" He perked up. 

"Hey.." 

Matt wrapped his arm around my shoulder really quickly...was he jealous about me and Hayes?

Well i was his pretend 'girlfriend' so im not surprised. 

"Do i know you from somewhere?" Hayes asked after about 5 minutes of complete silence. "No i dont think so, im from LA!" I quickly stated. He nodded.

This had to be the most awkardest time in my life. "Right shall we head back?" Matt questioned. 

"Sure okay!" i replied. 

"Actually im gonna wait out here for a little bit you know to see if i can find Danielle anywhere!" Hayes spoke lowly. A tear dropped from his eye, landing on the cold hard pavement. I looked at him and wanted to hug him so much. I looked at Matt and he nodded. "Let me speak to him.." I spoke. 

Hayes looked at me with a smile, Matt kissed my cheek then walked away, leaving me and Hayes alone, next to each other on a bench. "So whos Danielle?" I asked him. I still had my sunglasses on so he couldnt see my face. To be honest i felt so bad for him. 

But he was mad at me for some next reason and i didnt like it. And after what i heard this morning about him and Sienna i dont think i can ever forgive him for that. That will never leave my mind for as long as i shall live. 

"My Girlfriend!" He finally spoke. His phone still low from all the crying. 

"What exactly happened between you two?" I questioned. 

"Well this morning, i woke up earlier then expected and i had a text from an unkown number saying meet me at the garage, that was close to my house. I decided to go even though i know i shouldnt have because everyone would just worry about me. I left my phone in my bedroom so no one could contact me!" 

A tear started rolling down his cheek. 

"Anyway so when i got there, my friends were there, and they said if i was to ever speak or come anywhere near her again, they would hurt her in many possible ways, and i wouldnt be able to put up with the fact that she would get hurt and it would be all my fault..." 

He what? 

He was really just saving me from getting hurt all along? 

But it doesnt answer my question about him sleeping with Sienna. 

"Oh Hayes...Im sorry!" I spoke. The corner of my eyes were stinging as if tears were getting ready to spill. "Dont be sorry!" He looked at me, our eyes locked. He couldnt tell that i was looking into his, but he was looking into mine and i was to him.

As he reached up to take my sunglasses of, i stood up and backed away from Hayes. A few tears fell as i ran to meet Matt, What was i do with my life, i cant even think propley.....

And this is all because i became The Babysitter.
