Chapter 13 {Mall Memory}

After that awkward morning they went around San Francisco. There was always something to do, they all agreed to go to the mall since there are a large verity of things to do there

Grizz: Im gonna try to get new clothes for us!
Panda: We dont wear clothes
Grizz: Then team t-shirts!!
Ice Bear: Ice Bear can't wait for snow cones
Rigby: Mordecai come on lets go!
Mordecai: Yeah yuh!
Panda: Wait! um ....Mordecai, Can we hang out and go to the Gift Shop....yo know like...together...
Mordecai: Uh....sure dude
Rigby: Awww come on Dude, this blows
Mordecai: Hey i will make it up to you

Rigby just crossed his arms, and glared at Mordecai. He had to admit it, even though he was happy that Mordecai had a crush, he didn't like that Mordecai was going to ignore him agian

Mordecai: Hmmmm hey Rigby do me a solid and let me hang out with Panda
Rigby: Ugh, fine but do me a solid and buy lunch next time, 10$ and up
Mordecai: Deal!

Like that, Mordecai and Rigby shook hands and the groups went in different detections. Mordecai and Panda walked towards the shop. He was once agian, alone with his crush. This isn't definitely awkward.

Panda: What was that?
Mordecai: What?
Panda: That solid thing? is it like a deal or
Mordecai: Kinda, when you do a solid, you have to contribute to what the other person says or something bad will happen
Panda: Like what?
Mordecai: The universe falling apart
Panda: What!? just for not doing it!?
Mordecai: Yeah...its weird long story...., Hey now i have a question
Panda: What is that?
Mordecai: Why are you, Grizz and Ice Bear brothers even though you guys are....different

Panda lightly punched Mordecai on the arm. Mordecai was taken back by this since he never thought Panda would even hit anyone,

Panda: Hey i take offense to that
Mordecai: S-Sorry! i was just curious. Did you like have different moms or-
Panda: No no...i never knew my mom
Mordecai: Did...she die...im sorry-
Panda: No its not that...actually none of us did, when we where young...we all tried looking for a home until we found the cave
Mordecai: Wait, so where did you live before ya meet them
Panda: Well i.....i....i dont remember...its been so long...
Mordecai: Oh, i see...sorry
Panda: its ok, you dont have to

Eventually they saw the Gift Shop and went in. They found the toy section where there was a chance they could find a plush for Panda. Panda was busy looking at other plushies, Mordecai spotted one, he looked behind him to see if Panda was looking, Mordecai got the plush and secretly paid for it. After a few minutes Panda couldn't find anything and they both headed out of the store.

Mordecai: Didn't find anything
Panda: Unfortunately no, its not a big deal though
Mordecai: Well i found something you might like
Panda: What? why didn't you tell me
Mordecai: Cuz it would ruin the suprise
Panda: Suprise?

Just then Mordecai showed him what was in his hands. It was a panda plushie. Small and cute, just like him. Panda was a bit suprised by this

Mordecai: See it looks like you,...kinda...It can be your Panda 2
Panda: Aww that swe-.....P.....P-Panda 2

Panda got a bit teary-eyed, all the memories suddenly flowing back as if was a wave, it was till a blur but he remembered Panda 2 when he was younger. Mordecai notice the tears.

Mordecai: Y-You don't like it...do you. Ugh i knew it was a stupid idea-
Panda: No! i mean...uh..its just...Reminds me of an old friend..

Panda grasped the plush in his hands and gazed at it. Its like meeting an old friend whom he never saw...Well its not the actual plush when he was a cub but it resembled alot like him. Panda gave it a hug and looked at Mordecai with a teary smile

Panda: Thanks
Mordecai: Uh? You're Welcome? What old friends was it?
Panda: Hm?
Mordecai: You told me it reminded you of a friend, so...who was it
Panda: Long story im sure you dont want to hear it
Mordecai: Hmmm ya know what, I can buy us some of that bubble tea you like and we can drink while i hear the story
Panda: You sure??
Mordecai: Sure dude!

As they did, Mordecai got bubble tea for both of them and they sat down at a table. Panda tried to tell the story of him as a cub though he didn't remember that much so he did his best. Mordecai listened a bit suprised on what Panda went through.

Mordecai: Wait so you a cub had enough smarts to escape?! wicked, so what next
Panda: Well i had to hide in the bamboo truck, I think. and thats the last i saw of Panda 2
Mordecai: wow, thats pretty brave of you to escape like that.
Panda: Oh it was...nothing, im not that brave
Mordecai: Nothing! Id like to see cubs to escape and leave their friend behind.In my book thats brave man
Panda: T-Thanks...
Mordecai: So are ya still going to call it Panda 2 or 3
Panda: I will stick to Panda 2
Mordecai: Thats cute- cool...

Panda hugged his plush. Feeling a bit closure and reunited. Could this day get any better!?
