Chapter 9 {Just A Walk}

The Bears and The employees had a picnic or an Employee picnic since everyone did deserve it. They all set it up, in a frorest where they had a picnic area. Mordecai and Rigby decided to invite the bears since they might be interested. Of course Grizz was very interested and they all had a good time. They all sat on table they set up outside.

Muscle Man: You know who else likes this?
Grizz, Ice Bear, Panda: What?
Muscle Man: MY MOM!
HighFives: laughes
Grizz: laughs
Panda: What??
Mordecai: He always doea that don't mind him
Panda: Heh...yeah

Panda still has a crush on Mordecai, He has gotten very nervous around him and blushed when Mordecai looked at him. Mordecai still didn't know how he felt though but he did care about him.

Benson: Ok I'd like to thank you all for working so hard this week, you deserved this guys so enjoy the picnic.
Rigby: Yeah yuh!! i can eat my meayball sub now!
Grizz: Do you have another
Rigby: Eh...No
Grizz: Darn
Mordecai: Hey Panda, wanna share my extra meat sub
Panda: Oh no no, im vegetarian
Mordecai: Oh....well there should be PJ sandwiches in the basket, i will get one for you
Panda: No No No! im severely allergic to peanuts
Mordecai: oh...
Panda: Its ok, i can just eat something else in the basket
Rigby: Ha nice going Mordecai.

Mordecai punched him, This never got old. Panda eventually found apple pie and ate it in peace. They all hanged out for long time not that he was complaining. Mordecai honestly wanted to spend time with Panda since its been a while....weird, but how when everyone is here. After a tons of thinking Mordecai had an idea.

Mordecai: Panda, i know you're busy but i want to show you something awsome!
Panda: Ha, im not doing anything silly
Mordecai: Come on, but don't let your brothers know

Panda was a bit confused and he hesitated, but he still went with Mordecai. They snuck out, thinkin no one saw them. Little did they know, Rigby saw them and he had a smug look on his face. After a walking away for a bit Mordecai found the trail he had been looking for. It was a row of tress lined up perfectly. The tress leafs fell as if it was autumn.

Mordecai: This trail is peaceful and quite during the day, I thought you might liked it
Panda: W-Wow...wait why didn't you bring the others?
Mordecai: They wouldn't be interested, besides I heard you like trails like this
Panda: O-Oh....Thanks

Panda blushed, Mordecai didn't want to admit that it was cute....He didn't want to have feelings for him but he still cares for him. They both walked down the path, taking in the beautiful scenery.

Panda: M-Mordecai can i ask you something?
Mordecai: Uh...sure?
Panda: You think people take me seriously?
Mordecai: What do you mean?
Panda: Well....i think people dont take me seriously. They think im cute...Im not cute...
Mordecai: I mean you are cu- uh i mean a cool guy, so whats wrong with that?
Panda: They only take me as cute, its all eveyone talks about like im a kid!

Mordecai: Ah i see, well i mean i understand I guess, you're a panda everyone loves pandas,
Panda: But do they like me for my personality or just the cuteness?

Mordecai bit his lip, Panda was....cute but, he is more than cute. Mordecai knows Panda has a great personality and he has a unique one at that.

Mordecai: Well I guess, they have to get to know you if they want to like you for you. I mean, I already know you and you're a great guy Panda, And others will think so too eventually And there is nothing wrong from being cute,
Panda: T-Thanks Dude.....

Panda blushed, Mordecai saw this and he looked away to avoid eye contact. Panda did as well. The awkward tension came back.Mordecai just can't fall in love agian..not agian! He doesn't want to love agian. Just then Panda tripped he expected to fall on his face but he didn't. Mordecai caught him in his arms.

Mordecai: Dude you ok?
Panda: y-y-yeah....T-Thank y-you
Mordecai: Yeah.....no problem...

Mordecai saw something in Panda's eyes, There was something caring about them. Something loving and trusting. His eyes are shining. They got up, still having eyes locked on to eachother.Panda was blushing harder at this point but he didn't hide it. Mordecai had his own small blush on him. His heart pounded, he felt a lump on his throat

Panda: M-M-Mordecai...
Mordecai: Uh....yeah
Panda: I-....I lo-

They where both interrupted by Benson's yelling from a distance.

Benson: Mordecai!!! The picnic is over come here to help clean up or you're fired!!

After what seemd like forever Panda and Mordecai looked back at eachother, wondering what just happened. The moment had been over

Panda:C-Come on l-lets go
Mordecai: Wait didn't you want to tell me something?
Panda: y-yes um....i liked that you showed me this...thanks
Mordecai: Oh heh, yeah you're welcome dude...come on i don't want Benson getting mad
Panda: y-yeah..

They walked back, on their way Panda was thinking to himself, "Stupid stupid stupid" he repeated to himself. Meanwhile Mordecai was thinking, what just happened back there was something...he felt happiness but fear at the same time. He can't fall in love...but he has...he is in to deep. He looked at Panda and smiled, Panda returned a smile back. Oh no...he has fallen for him and no matter how much he denied, he can't run from love. He loves him...and it hurts
