Chapter 16: Just a Dream

Tracy;

The doorbell rang, signalling Liam was here for our first official date!

"I'll get it!" I yelled through the house, running towards the door. I yanked it open to see Liam, not dressed up and with an angry face. "Liam!" I squealed, going to give him a hug, but instead of being embraced in his arms, he pushed me onto the floor.

"Stay away from me!" He shouted, pointing down at me.

"What, Liam what do you mean?" I asked feeling shocked.

"Don't bother me anymore. Leave me alone, leave the band alone, and leave Louis alone!" He said sternly.

"But Liam what are you on about?" I asked, standing back up.

"How could you be so stupid? You caused this! You caused our fans to hate us, flushing our dreams down the toilet!" He snapped.

"Liam I didn't mean to do any of that!" I cried, feeling tears run down my face.

"Sure you didn't. But you're costing us our jobs, and our dreams. I'd rather find someone better then you. Someone who's been sick all their lives. You know, I only did this because I felt bad. But now, since you've almost go us thrown off the board, I don't want speak to you, I don't want to go out with you, and I especially don't want to look at you!" He spat, looking at me disgusted. I'm surprised I could even see his face with the amount of tears blocking my vision.

"Liam, I didn't mean to! I love you!" I cried, following him to his car, which was packed with the rest of the boys, and even Louis.

"Yeah, well guys what Tracy? I never, loved, you!" He said, rage taking over his sweet beautiful voice.

"Liam! Please, don't leave me!" I cried again.

"Bye Tracy!" He finished, hopping into the car and driving down the road

"No! Liam!" I cried.

*

Someone shook my shoulder, causing my water eyes to flutter open. When I saw it was Louis, I can't even explain how happy I was when I realized he wasn't really gone. It was just a dream. I sat up and he hugged me as I cried into his chest.

"It was just a dream Tracy. It's okay." He whispered, rubbing circles on my back.

"But, it-it seemed so, so real" I stuttered. It seemed so real it was frightening.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, sitting up straight to look at me. I shook my head rigorously. "Want to join me downstairs?" He offered. I slowly nodded. He took my hand and headed downstairs close to Louis.

"Niall! Stop eating them!" I heard one of the boys scream from behind the kitchen door.

"Um, you sit here. I'll go see what's going on." Louis said, pointing me towards the couch. I walked over and laid down on the couch. My crying slowed down but I got hiccups. Great.

After about a minute or two, the boys came out of the kitchen, covered in flour. Liam slid down next to me, kissing my cheek. It made me nervous. What if he really was faking all of this because he felt bad? Stop this Tracy! Liam's too kind hearted to do that! But what if it's true! I sighed and lent against Liam, trying hard to hide my scared state.

"I made the princess pancakes." Harry emerged with a plate of pancakes, protecting them from Niall.

"Thank you" I mumbled as he set them down on the table.

-

I finished my pancaked, close to choking twice because the boys were being ridiculous. They haven't brought up the fans hating me, which I was kind of happy about. Louis was the only one who had a hint of my bad dream. And I plan on not talking about it. Ever.

"Movie time!" Louis shouted. Harry and him ran over to the drawer where all of our movies were. They stuck one into the DVD player and the movie began. The Notebook.

It was at the part where Allie is fighting with her parents, and their saying Noah is no good for her. I was sat on the couch between Louis and Liam, Harry on Lou's side and the other two opposite Liam.  Noah climbed into his car, Allie chasing after him. Flashbacks from my dream came flowing into my vision. I started breathing really hard and tears filled my eyes. As I watched my boys drive away, I ran up to my room and slammed the door.

Nothing's going to help.

Liam;

Why do Louis and Harry always pick the chick flicks? But I can't say I don't like this movie; it's one of my favorites.

As Noah jumped into his truck and Allie cried after him, Tracy's breathing picked up. I noticed because of how loud she was inhaling and exhaling. Before I even had time to ask her what was wrong, she dashed off of the couch and into her room where she slammed the door shut.

"Lou, does she not like this movie or something?" Harry asked, looking worried. Louis rubbed his eyes and looked over to me.

"When I went to go up and talk to her, she was asleep. I sat on her bed for awhile until she started breathing heavily, like just now, twitching and she started crying in her sleep. I woke her, but she said she didn't want to speak about it. But before I woke her, she called out your name in a panicking tone." He explained. "I don't think she's going to tell me. Might as well you have a try?" He suggested hopefully.

"Sure I will." I smiled, standing up and heading towards Tracy's room. I knocked lightly on the door, waiting for a response.

"Come in" She mumbled. I walked into her lit room and sat on the bed next to her wrapped up body.

"What's wrong Tracy?" I whispered. She looked at me before sitting up.

"Liam, do you love me?" She asked, tears already filling her eyes. I was about to make it a joke, but seeing the look on her face, now was probably not the right time.

"Is this about what the fans said? Because if it is I'm-"

"No, just answer the question" She whispered, cutting me off.

"Tracy, of course I love you. Why would you think otherwise?" I asked, pulling her into my chest.

"You aren't just doing this because you felt bad for me?" She asked, her voice cracking.

"I promise, I am not doing this because I felt bad. I'm doing this because I love you." I replied back, proud of my answer.

"So you're not leaving me anytime soon?" She asked, sitting back up and looking at me. What was she thinking? I wouldn't leave her if I got paid to.

"What are you on about Tracy? I would never leave you!" I answered.

"I had a dream" She mumbled looking sad.

"Want to share?" I asked. She looked at me for a second before she began explaining it.

*

"And you said, you never loved me, and that I ruined your dream" She finished, now full on crying. What a horrible dream. I wouldn't even think about leaving such a beautiful girl that I can call mine. I could feel my eyes a little watery. I pulled her into my chest as she continued to cry.

"Tracy, I couldn't go on with my dream, if you weren't included in it." I whispered into her ear. She looked up to me with her puffy blue eyes and smile.

"I love you" She said.

"I love you too" I smiled and kissed her nose. We sat on her bed for the rest of the night talking and laughing. Tracy soon fell asleep on my chest. I played with her hair until I soon fell asleep myself.
