Katherine's right here now . I should grab the chance and be with her , before leaving . Its my time to take a chance its now or never . Lets dance to the beat of our hearts .
I pulled my right hand out and she gracefully hold onto it . We walked to the center and I put my other hand on her waist , she leaned her head to my shoulder and we swayed back and forth .. turn around ... look at eachother in a moment .. and we began dancing like fools . which was fun ... When the music stopped we returned to our table .
" You never said you were good at dancing Michael."
She laughs at me and I raised an eyebrow .
" Says the one who almost fell on the floor a while Ago "
" This heels are killing me you know! "
I laughed at her and she playfully punch my arm .
" May we have your attention please ? "
The president of the 'Prom Committee' announced on the stage about the winner of this years prom king and queen . I held Katherine's hand and we stand up .
" Hmm . i guess youre gonna lose."
" Kath , me ? lose ? hahaha . Seriously I always win "
After their long 5 minute speech they finally cut the chase. Drum roll please !
" And this year's prom king ... is ! no other than ! The defending king Mikey Way ! "
I chuckled at Katherine who looks pleased and i went up to the stage and took my crown . It's my last time to be prom king , cause I'm gonna be the king of bass in My Chemical Romance .
" And now . for this year's prom queen is ... Katherine Summer ! "
She goes up and wears her crown .
" Give way for the King and Queen ! "
They all screamed and cheered at us , as we made our way to the center . Damn slow dance again .
" Is this the part where the idiot gets to dance with the princess ? "
She laughs , and leans her head to my chest , as we rocked back and forth not caring about anything . I enjoyed this night . I might say this was the Best prom that i have ever attended . Just Perfect.
" Wanna run away ? "
She nods and we gave the crowns back to the committee . We went to get my bike but yeah we wont be able to ride it cause her dress is very long and it cant fit two persons either . So we walked to the garden thingy . Far away from the modern annoying music and the city sound . We walk in silence which wasnt awkward , it was nice really . I sound like a girl ... haha .
We lay on the grass and looked at the sky , mesmerized by the stars . It may sound cliché but it was like we have our own fantasy world , where the fireflies just began to appear , the cold breeze , and my favorite part is where Im being with the love of my life , Katherine Alessana Summer . The girl who made me change my view on love , that it still exist . I hope we just stay like this forever . I wish we have a happily ever after at the end .
" The band got signed to a record label "
She turns to look at me .
" Really ?! Congrats ! "
" Its my last day on school tomorrow . "
She sighed , I saw her eyes , the happiness fade away , She looks away and stared at the sky .
" So I guess this is our last meeting ? "
" No . ofcourse not . I'll contact you . There are many terms of communication . "
She laughs a bit and looked at me .
" Im gonna wait for you guys to play a big show here then ? "
" Yeah . so ... have you filled some college applications ? "
" Yeah thats the reason why I wasn't attending school "
" oh . that's good to hear "
She smiles and holded my hand
" Michael what if ... "
" What ? "
" What if . You become a father . "
Wait . Did I heard that right ? Im going to be a dad. ?
" Then that would be good news "
She sighs and sat up . She looked at her phone and bit her lower lip .
"Only 30 minutes left . and prom is just another part of our yearbook "
I sat up and hugged her . Im going to say those theee words . That I thought I wont say to a girl anymore .
" Katherine. I know . this is crazy but I . "
" You what ? "
" I Love You Kath . So much "
She looked suprised .
" You do ? "
" Yes . I was an idiot for leaving you that morning . I kept denying this feelings that I have and . I thought I can forget all of it . but i cant ."
She smiled .
" I love you too Michael . "
I felt overjoyed . Hearing her say those words . She loves me too .
" So ... I have to go home "
She chuckled and peck my lips . I blushes and she stand up and she help me to stand up and we walk to her house holding hands , we glance at eachother . We arrived at the main gate of her house . Where her butler was waiting for her . She looked at him and he smiled and walked away leaving the two of us .
" So here we are . "
" Yeah "
I laughed a bit and she rolled her eyes at me .
" Damn it mikey."
And I felt her lips on mine . Oh . And she pulled away from the kiss and smiled .
" Goodnight Michael "
She walked away left me standing there . I laughed at myself Stupid Mikey . I started to walk back home and parked the bike on our garage . I went upstairs and lay on my bed , I remembered the events that happened a while ago . And slowly drifted to sleep
