Chapter 15 : Famous Last Words

I woke up and ate break fast .

" Mikey better pack your things up okay ? "

I nod and went upstairs and started packing up , its our last day here , and I'm sure as hell I'm going to miss my room , my mom , dad , and Katherine . I started packing my clothes , grabbed some boxes from the basement and put my other stuff in it and labeled it 'Mikey's stuff ( basement ) ' and taped it with the fragile thingy one , why ? Because it had my collectibles and I'm getting them back after our tour when I'll have my own place . I texted Katherine after .

Hey , how's school ? Can we see each other ?

I sent the message , and started putting the boxes in the basement. As soon as I finished it our parent called us for a family meeting at the living room . They were quite emotional especially our mom and our grandmother who even bought us our van which was an early gift and were so greatful to have a very supportive family . After dinner I received Katherine's message .

Meet me in the garden in 15 .

I smiled to.myself , I thought she won't text me back .

" Hey Mikey help us with this ! "

Frank shouted as they load our things to the van .

" I need to go sorry "

I slowly runned or more like jogged to the garden and I saw Katherine in her plain white dress , her hair in a bun , she was looking at the sky , she was sitting on the bench . I quietly creep on her and kiss her cheek before sitting down .

" Hi "

I smiled at her and she did too .But it didn't reaches her eyes . Is something wrong with her ?

" Michael... "

" yes ? Is there something wrong ? "

I looked at her and cupped her cheek for her to look at me . She had tears on her eyes and it fell down as soon as she blinked .

" Hey ... Just tell me what's wrong ? "

" This ... This is wrong "

She said between sobbed , I hugged her and kissed her cheek , she hugged back and cried . What happened ? What's wrong ? Is it me ?

" Michael please ... Don't leave me ... "

She said in between sobs . I backed away from the hug , and wiped her tears with my thumb but it didn't worked .

" Don't leave me here . "

She said her eyes had been pleading at my hazel ones . I kissed her forehead and stared at her .

" Kath .. I'm doing this for us . "

I said. I'm disappointed at her . Why can't I leave ? its my dream to be in the band ? Is she pulling me away from it ? If I stay here what will I do ? Its stupid . I dont want to be stuck in here . But I dont want to see her like this . crying and pleading for me not to leave , but this is my life my dream my future , and I can't just throw it away ... But I can't lose her too she's everything to me right now ..
