Celine didn't know how much more 'I'm sorry for your loss' greetings she could take when she and Elizabeth entered a store. While Elizabeth ran amok around the boutique, Celine stayed by the maid's side, conversing quietly.

Elizabeth forced a model try on dress after dress, shoe after shoe, and hair ribbon after hair ribbon. Celine sat down on a pouf, and rubbed her eyes. The boutique smelt of old candles and heavy perfume. The storekeeper had the furnace on, which made the smell so much more suffocating. Celine was surprised she hadn't fainted yet.

"You should try this on! It matches your eyes, Celine." Celine had finally convinced Elizabeth to call her by her name. The model grabbed the dress, and stomped over to behind the changing screen. The door opened, letting in the chilly air of fall inside the shop. Celine shivered, and rubbed her hands together. The model stepped out, and Elizabeth squealed in delight.

"This would look so cute on you! You're definitely getting this. Its dark blue!" Celine snapped her head up, confusion written all over her face.

"Elizabeth, I didn't bring any money with me."

"You don't need to have money, silly! Your mother created a tab for you, so if you find something you want, just get it." Elizabeth chirped. The model returned with dress, and handed it to the cashier.

Elizabeth had bought four new dresses, four pairs of shoes, and four headbands, while Celine just bought the dress. She felt bad for the footman that had to carry all of Lizzy's things back to the carriage, and insisted that she could carry the dress herself. The two girls left the store walking side by side, talking about their brothers.

"Edward never leaves me alone about when I go see Ciel! I love him, but he can be so annoying sometimes." Celine didn't repeat the conversation she and Edward had about Ciel, and just nodded her head.

"Elijah and my brothers never let me go anywhere with out at least two of them with me. Needless to say, the suitors never lasted long." Both Elizabeth and Celine erupted into a fit of giggles which ended when a carriage pulled to an abrupt and hasty stop in front of them. The driver opened the door to reveal Elijah and Ash. Elijah got of the carriage and grabbed his sister's arm.

"Celine, we're leaving lets go."

A look of shock passed over Celine's face. She tried to pull away, but Elijah had a vice grip. He pulled her into the carriage, and she waved forlornly at Elizabeth.

"Bye Lizzy."

Ash pulled the door shut, knocked on the roof, and the carriage lurched forwards.

Celine didn't speak a single word all the way back to manor, and ignored every attempt Ash and Elijah had tried to get her to talk. When the carriage stopped, she didn't wait for the driver to open the door, and stormed out. She burst through the doors leading to her room, and slammed them behind her. Celine untied her boots, and tore off her gloves. She took off her headpiece, and threw it on the floor. She sat on her window seat, staring into nothingness.

Multiple maids had come to her door, knocking softly, but she sent them all away with out hesitation. After another hour or so, another knock was heard on the door. She didn't answer, and let the knocking continue.

"What ever stunt you're trying to pull, it's not going to work." The door opened, and Victoria walked in. Her lips were pursed, and her eyes held disappointment.

"You're acting foolish, and you know that. There's a fine line between upset and being down right rude, Celine. You'd best find it. Elijah has been worried sick about you, and you're sitting in your room, throwing a fit. Go apologise to him, and then come down to gardens. Make sure no one, not even Ash follows you down. Understand?"
