The police told me this foster house would be great. They said the kids are nice, and the parents are even nicer. They will feed you every day, take you to school. Take you to the doctor when you are sick. They will support you mentally and physically.

I nodded my head as if I believed them. No one can support me. Not with all I keep hidden. My powers, which thankfully no one was perspective enough to see me using, my past my mental issues, and finally my family. There is just so much that I can not believe others will understand.

I stepped out of the cop car that I had been riding in to get to this new, supposedly better, foster house. I was wearing clothes that were not my own. I big blue t-shirt and tight black leggings they had given me for me to wear until my new family bought me more. I was wearing the converse that I had for three years to match the odd look.

I stood up on my short thin legs. I took a deep breath. I was nervous, I had social anxiety. I hated having to talk to people I really didn't know. I mean I'm nice and will give people compliments when they need it but I'm not really a social person. And I hate it when people take care of me. For I care about others more than myself.

The brown eyed cop escorted me to the old looking front door that was attached to the house the would be my temporary if not permanent home until I moved out.  I hated this.  I have social anxiety so meeting and talking to new people was always a challenge unless If was to help or save someone, in that case my body would move before I could think.

The door opened to meet a nice looking couple. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself. I walked up to the door still pushing through the continuous pain that would not go away.

Everywhere....

"Hi," I said very quietly. The woman let a soft giggle escape from her lips. I let my eyes fall to the ground. I had just gotten to this family and I already want to leave. The woman motioned me to come in side, I had no other choice so I did.

As soon as I got in the house a small girl ran up and hugged me.

"Oh Darla, I know you are trying to be kind but she may want some space," the woman lauded her hand on my shoulder.

"It's ok," I said ,"and your name is Darla?" She nodded. I let a soft smile slip onto my face. She was so young, she had been thrown into this hell hole of a world, she is so innocent.....

As Darla let go the lady lead me away into what looked like a living room. There was a Asian boy sitting on a couch looking intently and the T.V. screen. The screen had animated characters fighting on it. I heard furious clicking and I could feel the tension in the room.

"Eugene, I want you to meet some one." The kind woman stated very sharply. He payed no attention to the kind woman.

How rude, you don't know how long you will have the people you care bout, and you just ignore her, I thought, this is screwed up.

I brought my eyes down to the ground. I felt so bad for this woman. She took him in when his parents wouldn't, she feed him, she kept him alive, and he just ignores her.

The woman bent down to whisper in my ear,"Don't worry he is like this some times, he payes attention to nothing but those darn video games, I assume even if the world was burning down he wouldn't care."

I let a quiet laugh escape from my petite lips. While doing so I earned a giggle from the woman. We turned away from the living room to a wooden stair case. As we walked up to the half-way-platform, a large teen boy came walking down. I brought my eyes up to his and my lips fell into a sweet, gentle smile.

He gave a quick smile and continued to walk, the next thing a know the woman nudged my and bent down.

"Thats Pedro, he almost never smiles," she said in a small voice, "that must mean he sees something great in you!"

I laughed, something great in me, ph I wish. All I ever did was ruin things. That's why I never wanted to be a foster kid, I don't want to be a nuisance. I didn't want to be a bother, take their food or even have anyone care for me. I mean I've lived in the woods in a small shed for over 2 years, working 3 jobs secretly because 13 year olds can't work.

I was ripped out of thought by knocking on a door. I looked up to see a white(I think it's white it's been a while since I've seen the movie) door that the kind woman was knocking on. I young looking boy on crutch looking things held by his hands.

"Oh is this the new kid you said you might get," his eyes drifted to me",oOoOo what's your name? How old are you? What's your story? Do you like tomatoes or potatoes better? How-"

"Freddy please," she sounded like she was almost begging," she just got here, give her some time to get settled, then you can ask her questions, oh and since we ran out of rooms she will be staying in here."

His face lit up, "She is staying in our room?"

"Yes, but if either of you ever try anything I will personally kill you myself," I laughed as the woman said this.

Another boy walked out from behind the door. He had brown hair and was pretty tall. I mean every one is tall to me since I'm 4'7. I know I'm short but that's not because I haven't hit puberty. I mean I'm a 34 double-d(that's a bra size if you didn't know).

"I'm Billy," he said in a kind but curious voice as he greeted me. His eyes were beautiful.  They were a perfect green. I sighed. I will never get anyone and even if I do they won't stay, not after they find out my past, who I am....

The woman led me into the room to a small bed that laid across from the bunks that I assumed belonged to the boys. I set my stuff down while the boys went into the other room to talk to the woman for a second. I looked around the room.

"Do you like it?" the disabled boy asked, "I've spent years working of this masterpiece of a room to fit the style of life perfectly."

"Actually i was kinda thinking it was a little  messy,"I said trying not to be rude or harsh," I mean it's fine, I can't complain, but if you ever want someone to help clean or organize it I will."

He had a shocked look on his face," I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you! I know I messed up! Kick me out if you want , I won't blame you, I-"

"Dude your fine," the other boy said as he walked into the room," Freddy has basically never talked to a girl before."

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know," I said a I put a soft smile on my face a slightly tilted my head to the side bringing my arm to scratch the back of my neck lightly.

"Your good," Freddy said in a monotone voice.

"Dinners ready!" I heard a voice yell from down stairs.

The green eyed boy held out his hand for me to grab," Come on let's go eat."
