IMPORTANT

Hello, dear readers. I'd like to preface this book with a few notes, just so we're all on the same page (pun absolutely intended).
This is a remake of Shakespeare's Othello, so there will be a few things that are slightly unusual about the style of this work, and general things you should be aware of going into it.
1) This is like Othello, but it is not Othello. If you've read or seen the play, you'll probably be able to tell where the plot is heading. However, the make the story fit its modern-day Korean setting, there are things that will be different from the original work. That being said, I worked very hard to keep the story as close to the original as possible, so it should be fun whether or not you are familiar with the plot.
2) Originally, this was a play. Obviously. To convert text that was only dialogue into a story with a narrator and visual action happening was quite an ordeal. This means that there will be a lot of talking, more than is typical for my works. It also means certain characters have soliloquies (long monologues to the audience) to give the reader information, so be aware of that. It's just what they do. It's not weird. Don't freak out.
3) Because I wanted to do one chapter per scene in the play, some of the chapters are short and some are HECKIN BIG BOYS. I don't make the rules, Shakespeare does :)
4) This play starts in media res, meaning it jumps right into the action. It might, therefore, be confusing, but all will be explained as you go. If you have a question, please don't hesitate to leave a comment and I will get back to you shortly! Also, you should probably read at least the first two chapters before you decide whether or not to keep reading because that's when things start making sense and when you actually meet the main character lol.
5) I put music in front of the chapters that I think really improve the vibe. You don't have to listen if you don't want to, but it's a little bonus :D
6) If you've read Othello, or know the plot, please don't spoil it in the comments!
7) Have fun with it!
