"You're sure you haven't seen anything?"
"For the last time, no," Jungkook said, wincing slightly. "And he hasn't said nothing, neither."
Namjoon took a deep breath through his nose, loosening his grip on Jungkook's wrist once he realized he was squeezing it. They were in Namjoon and Jimin's living room, although Jungkook felt it was more of an interrogation room at this point. Namjoon had pulled him over on his way back from dinner, claiming to have something important to discuss. However, so far all Jungkook had heard from him was paranoid rambling.
Jungkook didn't know his best friend's husband as well as he'd like to, but even he could tell how out of character this was. His typically calm and confident features were sicklied over with a sheen of sweat, his caramel skin unnaturally pale. He looked like death.
"I'm sorry," Namjoon said, taking a step back. "But you've seen them together, you said?"
"Well, yes," Jungkook said honestly, scratching the back of his neck. "But they weren't doing anything bad, I swear. Just, you know... talking. All friendly-like."
Namjoon furrowed his brow. This wasn't lining up with what he'd seen, nor with Taehyung's account.

"That's... strange," was all Namjoon replied with. He leaned back against the table, calculating.
Jungkook sighed. He knew he had to protect Jimin, but he wasn't sure how to cure such a primal thinking pattern as jealousy. "Jimin is the most honest person I know," he tried, shifting on the cushion. "And he's the most honest person you know, too. If anything in your mind is telling you otherwise, you better hush up that voice right now."
Namjoon looked away, face turning halfway into darkness. He didn't say anything, but Jungkook knew he'd heard him.
He didn't know where Namjoon had gotten the idea that Jimin was unfaithful, but a horrible, venomous thought began to grow in his brain.
"Did someone do this to you?" he breathed. When Namjoon remained silent, Jungkook pushed himself up and approached the older man. He got close enough that he could see Namjoon's lip trembling softly in the darkness. His heart grew heavy, hoping he was wrong. "Did someone lie to you, Namjoon?"
"No," Namjoon finally whispered roughly. "Well, unless Jimin has. That's what I'm trying to figure out."
Jungkook took a step forward, wanting to provide comfort. "Joon-"
