Bakugo POV

When you are in a situation long enough you begin to question whether it's worth it. Why you are doing it? What are you looking for? Ever since Azami was taken we all were on edge. We let Deku know about the base. I was against it but I was out voted.

"Bakugo?" Toyo's voice sounded in my head. I know I was dozing off but I look up with a glare and wait for him to continue. Once Toyo knew I was paying attention he turned to the others. "It's been a couple weeks but we know where she is. While we are there we should also make it a priority to get heroes and any others that are there." He said pointing to the board.

I look over so I can pretend to pay attention. The words go into my ear but I don't commit them to memory. "Two weeks from now will be the five-year anniversary of the League taking over." He states looking around. "Most of the villains will be at the 'parade' they are putting on. This is our only chance to have the most success." Toyo faced everyone again. "Ok now I need a few small updates. Aizawa how are you holding up with the injuries."

The teacher just gave a blank expression. "They are all healed up. I'm ready to get my students back." He said looking at anyone to see who would challenge his choice. Toyo nodded then looked at Kuma. Kenjirou was sitting next to her with a bunch of bandages around his body. While he was awake now he still had a way to go so he could train again.

The centaur didn't have to say anything. Kuma started to speak when he looked at her. "Kenjirou's injuries are slowly healing. Now that he is awake they are faster and uh what else?" She looked down to the bandaged boy beside her. He simply looked up at Toyo and began to speak.

"I can heal myself by the time we are ready to go on the mission. I want to help. After all it is Azami who brought us together in the first place." Everyone looked down in their laps thinking about the blue haired girl. It made me sick.

With a quick motion I slide my chair back and leave the room. I decide to go out for a walk. "This is all bullshit. We are just moping around when we could be spying or some shit. That stupid Deku could even help us with the structure." I groan in frustration as I leave the building we called base. Before leaving I pull my hoodie up over my head so I am not easily spotted.

I walk for at least half an hour. By the time I'm done I find myself at an abandoned field of grass. It came up to my chest. "Someone really let this place go." I noticed walking into it and sitting down. I decide to take a minute to clear my head. With a deep breath I close my eye and listen as the wind rustles the grass around me.

When I open my eyes I see a figure in front of me. "The fu . . ." I don't finish my sentence as I realize who it is. "Kiyo?" I ask reaching my hand out. It reaches her face. The girl before me just leans into my touch. Her hair is the same as before. The deep red color with an A line cut. It suits her.

My eyes scan her body then move to scan my surrounding. I notice that all the grass, the city, and buildings disappeared. 'Ok I'm going fucking crazy.' I thought to myself as I focused on the girl in front of me. She opened her mouth to speak but then closed it again. I wait for her to take her time. When she does speak she is looking into my eyes. "Hey Bakugo." She said softly.

Before she continued she tucked a bit of hair behind her ear. "How have you been?" She asked looking me up and down. Her green eyes looked at me searching for a sigh that I heard her.

I sigh knowing I was about ready to spill everything to her. "Honestly, I'm fucking lost." I hang my head and look at my hands that are folded in my lap. The shuffling she makes, makes it clear she moved closer. The softness of her hands grab mine giving them a gentle squeeze. "Puke feathers, shitty hair, and you dirt face. The people that I have come to care about always are being fucking taken." I grip her hand a little harder as the emotions start to release from my body.
