What Goes Up Must Come Down

I'm Back

Azami's POV

I could feel the air blowing against my skin. My heart was pumping as I ran. Fright filled my eyes as I continued to dash away from whatever was chasing me. When I turned to look at whatever was chasing me all I could see was a shadow with red eyes. My breathing quickened as I turned corners. "Leave me alone!" I cried running.

The voice that answered back was distorted. "Not in this life time or the next." It said. The voice sounded like it was coming through a stereo with poor connection. Tears continued to stream down my face as I ran. After a few more turns the figure behind me caught me by grabbing the back of my shirt. I fell back into the person's chest. Their arms wrapped around me as I tried to wiggle around to free myself. "Not again Airi." 

I woke up with tears streaming down my face. Luckily I was alone so I didn't bug anyone. With a big sigh I knew what had to come next. I had to inform Kirishima what was going on, and the only way to do that was to go and see Amachi. The thought sent a shiver down my spine. I got up and slipped on some socks so that my feet wouldn't make sounds against the floor. From what I was told yesterday they have people on watch all the time, so that means I have to be careful roaming the halls.

I open the door to my room and looks down the halls to see if anyone was coming. Straining my ears I tried to listen to footsteps down the hall. When I didn't hear anything I left the room and started to walk towards Amachi's room. Yesterday I used the excuse that I wanted to know where she was so I could steer clear. Deep down I wish that was what I would be doing. As I keep my ears open I continued to walk down the hall way. Suddenly the sound of hoof steps filled my ears. Luckily there was a door next to me. I opened it and saw it was a closet. I Slipped in leaving the door ajar to listen more.

I also heard a pair of normal footsteps. The first voice to speak is Toyo, I was able to tell immediately. "Bakugo what are we going to do about the league next?" It just so happened that they stopped in front of the door, the door I was hiding behind.

I heard Bakugo sigh before he started to speak. "I need to get some sort of answer out of Amachi." The hurt in his voice was all too obvious. "I was able to get Hideo to remove the collar around her neck but it looks like those fuckers got to her pretty good. Not to mention we have to try with Kirishima too if we are ever to win this. To be honest shitty hair is the one I'm worried about." I peaked through the door to see the blonde cross his arms over his chest.

Toyo tilted his head. "Why do you think he will be the worst? I mean the worst we have seen him do is take and hurt Azami. That was bad but what else would he do? He hasn't really showed much interest in anything else." Toyo scratched his arm a bit before resting them on his hips. The poor boy was barely able to fit in these small hallways, being almost eight feet tall and all.

The other male shook his head. "That's the thing. Shitty hair only wants Azami. That mean he will do whatever he fucking has too. I just want us to be on our guard. If he was able to find us to get Azami the first time he will most likely do it again." He growled looking at the floor. "Anyways lets go. It's time to switch our shifts with snake chick and plant doctor." He said with a huff.

The centaur laughed. "You mean Tora and Kenjirou?" The blonde mumbled a whatever and lead the rest of the way. I didn't realize I was holding my breath, so I quickly let it out. Once I couldn't hear their foot steps anymore I left the closet and continued on my way. So many thoughts circled my mind. 'What ever he has too? He wouldn't hurt anybody would he?'

After a couple minutes I reached Amachi's cell. There was an opening in the crystal door where people could talk through it. "Amachi?" I whispered looking into opening. Sitting on the bed was the girl I feared but needed to see. "I h-have some news." I hated that I stuttered. She lifted her head up slowly. A smirk on her face as she looked me in the eye. A small hum came from her as a response. "We are planning a masquerade party." I said looking away from her.
