KATE'S P.O.V

"Morning!"  Shania shouted knocking my door.

"Alright I'm up!"  I yelled back.

"Good.  For once in your life, I don't need years to wake you up."  She chuckled.

"Oh stop it.  I'm not that bad."

I took my towel and started washing.  Today's gonna be a long day.  We got assigned to handle an orphanage with the group.  Like we've been arranging before, I'll work with Connor today.  Thank God it's Connor.  He was likely a brother to me.  Connor even said that he will come over this morning to bring my guitar.  Such a gentleman.

"I saw you last night with Riley."  I started the interrogation session with Shania.

"Uh...then?"

"What's on your mind?"

"Mine?  Nothing though. Should I?"

"Oh Riley's a good guy.  I love seeing you both."

"Kate, not now."  She turned as red as tomato.

"Why not?  What's so wrong about it?  He gave you signal too."

"I know..."  Shania sighed.  "But he's...  Riley McDonough, alright?  I can't match the girls' game."

"What game, dude?  Come on, you're beautiful.  He likes you."  I ate my pancake.

"He might be.  But he might be not..."

"And it bothers you."  I nodded.  "I understand.  But I'm positive, he likes you Shane.  What about you?"

"Frankly, he's adorable."  She raised an eyebrow.

"Then go get him!  You have approximately 2 months to do that."  I laughed.

"But what after the camp's over?  I don't want to be in a relationship that I know it would end shortly."

"Faith, sweetheart.  It's all about faith.  Look.  You're the Orlando girl.  Riley's from here.  Think about this.  If you were both deciding to stay around, he would be able to see you anytime.  Because you're here!"  I cheered.

"Hah.  Smart."  Shania smirked.  "Thanks, it was the best scenario ever."

"Oh well, have fun today, and for the next 2 months.  You'll see."  I took the plates to the washing dishes.

"What about you and Connor?"  Shane shouted.

"W...what?  Me and Connor?  Heck, we're brother and sister."  I rolled my eyes.

"And Toby?"  Shania made me frozen again.

"What's it with Toby?  He's fine."  I cleared my throat.

"I saw you were with him last night.  Quite a gentleman.  You have...something on him?"

"Something like what?"  I turned around to face Shania.  "Earth to the beautiful Shania, I'm not gonna be with any of them.  Even Toby.  Ew, he's a pain."

"You said so."  She insisted.  "What if, just if, he likes you?"

"Then he would have not been so rude to me after this time."  I chuckled.

"What if it's to hide the feeling?"

"You're daydreaming too much, Shane McDonough.  Not everybody needs to be with somebody in this camp.  Maybe yes for you, but not for me.  I'm not looking for a boyfriend here."
