Chapter 5 Blade

Flashback Wish Realm 

"You took my life from me!"  the young man shouts. "Why do you get a happy ending if I don't!? You'll always be the Evil Queen, with or without magic!" He scolds coldly. 

"You don't deserve her," He warns and throws the knife. "No! MOLLY!" Regina races in front of her.

As the blade impales into her, a white light washes backwards over Molly. 

"NOOOO! MOOMM!!" Molly feels Regina fall into her arms. Regina looks at her gently, as Molly presses her chest, turning a crimson from the wound.

"I love you..." Regina struggles. "Mom, why did you do that?" Molly weeps. "I will always protect you," Regina breathes her last breath in the child's grasp.

Surprised, that he hit the Queen instead of the child, the man runs off. Molly cries, and rain begins to fall over her. 

As the hours roll by into the evening, her father has found her, soaked to the bone, and laying next to her mother. 

With the help of Smee, Killian lifts his wife's body, and his mate lifts his daughter, carrying them back to their home, the Jolly Roger. 

Molly mutters half asleep, as her father gently wipes her forehead. "Mum.. Mum...." 

"Shh shhh," Killian coos at the teen, and Molly looks at him with her eyes glassed over with tears. 

"It's all my fault," She utters. "No no, shhhh," he father gently hugs her. Rocking his sixteen year old with a pain in his heart at their loss, he attempts to comfort her. 

As the child finally rested, he marches angrily off the ship, "Watch her, don't leave her side, that's an order," he commands to Smee.

The captain places a shall of disguise over himself, and wonders into a vibrant tavern. With any luck the perpetrator will appear. 

Indeed he was correct, hearing the man, "The Queen is dead.." laughing boisterously. Killian grit his teeth, and waited patiently to see him walk out the wooden door. 

Killian tucked out the back and followed him. 

With a swift swagger in his steps, Killian reveals himself in front of him. "Well well, quite proud are you?" He mocks angrily.

The man regresses backwards, seeing the captain before him. "Captain... Hook..." he utters nervously. 

"Did you think there would be no repercussion? You foolish man," Killian gritted his teeth. "You wish to be accomplished? Then fight someone with a weapon, not an unarmed woman and child," Killian said drawing his sword.

The man hesitated a moment, and stared at him, fumbling for his own, that wasn't there. "Oh right, you used your blade to kill my wife," Killian drew it from his pocket. 

"You won't be telling that story ever again, DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES!!" With an intangible anger,  Killian stabs the man. 

Returning to his ship to properly bury his wife at sea, he goes to Molly who is exhausted emotionally. "What if he comes for me?" Molly asks.

"He won't, you think I wouldn't take care of him?" Killian tips the child's chin up. "You killed him?" Molly asks. "Yes, of course I did." he says. 

"I thought you and Mum weren't going to be villains anymore?" Molly sniffled having conflicting feelings about it. "Yes, but you are my most precious treasure, and if you're in danger, I'll kill, and he killed your mum," Killian muttered. 

"He did deserve it, and I would do it," Molly wiped her eyes. "Yes and I wouldn't want you to, when I can, your heart is far too pure," Killian said. 

As the story had it's own in Wish Realm, Storybrooke would be slightly different. In the shadows and lurking was someone who anticipated this date of revenge for a long while. 

The child's appearance in Storybrooke had ignited the same man of his revenge, the same man but a different version. 

"Mmm mmm," Regina gently kisses against Killian's lips. "That was amazing, it may have worked," Killian smiled, as the couple settled into bed. 

"Muuuummm!!!!" A scream is heard. 

Regina gets up quickly and puts her robe on, rushing down the hallway. 

Molly is breathing heavily in a cold sweat as she sits up. "Shhh," Regina comes forward flicking on the light. 

"It's ok," She sits down. 

Killian gets clothing, and follows in suit towards where they had Molly set up. Regina sits on the side of the bed, gently touching Molly's head.

"Alright there lass? It was just a dream," Killian said softly. Figuring she was used to her Wish Papa's voice soothing her, he figured it couldn't hurt to speak to her. 

Molly sighed, "What was it?" Regina asked. 

"Just a memory, of him killing her," Molly breathed. "A light washed over me when she was hit with the knife," Molly described.

"A light? A white light?" Regina asked. "Yes," Molly nodded. "I see," Regina mused.

"Molly, can you remember anything about this man?" Regina asked. "Yes, I remember what he looks like," Molly answered.

Killian paid attention as Molly began listing off what he looked like. Furrowing his brow he thought.

Regina gave Molly water, and calmed her to go back to sleep. 

Shutting the door, "What are you thinking?" Regina asked. "I think I've seen this person, perhaps I'll pay a visit," He said.

"What are you thinking?" Killian asked noticing his wife's thoughtful face. "Well a white light, that's magic." Regina said.

"You think Regina sacrificing over there gave the child magic or a protection of sort?" Killian asked. "Possibly, I'll look it up," Regina said. 

"I'll go find this man," Killian said. "Well don't go start something that isn't there, we don't even know if he would have any issues now since this is a different realm and path," Regina said.

"True, but let me just look into it so the child is safe, and you," he smiled and kissed her softly. 

Killian's Storybrooke life was one seeking redemption, but that didn't mean he wasn't opposed to preventing someone from possibly hurting his other version's child, or his own wife. 

He wanted to cover all the basis and headed down to the white rabbit. 

Next morning, Killian comes into the back door, as Regina is making morning breakfast. "There you are," She sighs. 

"I may have found some information," Killian said. "Pirate life coming useful?" Regina asked. "Mhmm, saw this realm's version of the man who killed Wish Realm Regina," He said.

"And?" Regina inquires.

"Hi," Molly interrupts them. "Oh hi," Regina smiled.
