I never wrote a book like this before, so give me a chance

Summer

"Janet asked me to come over, and I walked towards her with a smile. "Yes, my love?" I replied. "I want to take a picture of us," she said, and I happily wrapped my arms around her waist as she snapped a photo on her phone. "Make sure to send me that photo," I reminded her with a grin as I grabbed my purse. Together, we walked hand in hand towards the exit of the restaurant.

As we headed towards the parking lot, I let out a tired yawn. Janet and I made our way to her car and drove home. Once we arrived, I unlocked the front door and we headed upstairs to our bedroom. I quickly changed into my pajamas, leaving my dirty clothes by my side of the bed.

"I think I'm going to take a shower," I announced to Janet. "Okay, I'll be here," she replied with a smile. In the bathroom, I grabbed my loofah and slid the shower door open. After a long and refreshing shower, I put on my sandals and returned to our bedroom. I picked out a comfortable pajama set and headed downstairs. Thirsty, I grabbed a plastic cup from the cabinet and filled it with water from the fridge.

Back in our bedroom, I crawled into bed next to Janet. She pulled me closer to her, wrapping her arms around me. "Goodnight, Summer," she whispered. "Goodnight, my love," I replied, feeling content and loved.
