Lauren and Camila have not said two words to each other. It's been a day now and neither of them have tried to speak to the other. James came over to check up on Lauren but he was only greeted with silence. She wouldn't talk to anyone.
Camila was in her room when she heard a loud bang. Her first instinct was to grab a weapon, she was become more and more paranoid. When she heard the bang again she walked out of her room to see Lauren banging a can of Pineapples on the table.
"Are you going to help or just stand there?" Lauren ask. She hadn't looked up from the can. Camila walked over to her and pulled it open. "Thanks."
"Lauren we need to talk." Camila says. She was finally going to tell Lauren the truth about everything.
"I don't want to do this Camila. You clearly don't feel the same way about me. Besides you're pregnant with Zayn's baby."
"I'm not pregnant." Camila says. Lauren stops eating pineapples. She just freezes then she laughs.
"Camila." Lauren says.
"No. Listen to me. I don't love Zayn, I'm not pregnant and I'm in love with you. I have been for years now." Camila says. She was tired of hiding this.
"What the hell are you talking about, we just met." Lauren says. Camila shakes her head.
"Lauren it's me Camz. The girl you saved many times, the girl you saw in those woods. It's me." Camila pleads. Lauren grabs her phone and calls James.
"James can you come and get me?" Lauren ask. Camila couldn't hear what was being said on the other side of the phone but she knew it was good. "Just please! Camila has gone bar shit crazy... she just told me she's not pregnant and... okay." Was the last thing Lauren said.
"Lauren you have to believe me." Camila says.
"Why would I believe you? You're clearly crazy. I woke up in a hospital, you can't be my Camila because my Camila is stuck in a zombie apocalypse." Lauren says.
"This place is fake Lauren. We're behind walls, there is a apocalypse but it's behind the walls." Camila says. "We came here to survive. Please believe me."
There was a knock on the door. Lauren was quick to answer it, see as it was James she let him right in.
"Let me just get my stuff." Lauren says as she heads up stairs. When she was out of hearing range James started talking.
"Camila what the hell are you doing?" James ask.
"I can't lie any more. I can't keep doing this." Camila says.
"You don't have a fucking choice. It's either you lie and keep Lauren safe, or we all die." James was angry. "Choose."
"I'm ready." Lauren says as she comes back down the stairs.
"Lauren." Camila says.
"Camila I'm leaving. I'll see you around." Lauren says. She hands her bag to James.
"Lauren please. You promised you would never leave me, you promised that no matter what or where we are you would always be there for me. Please don't leave." Camila was now crying, She was breaking down.
Flashback
"Camz you have to pay attention." Lauren says. She was trying to help Camila improve on her throwing skills.
"Babe I'm paying very much attention." Camila says. She had the knife in her hand but her eyes were staring at Lauren.
"Camz please stay with me, we have two hours before the others get back." Lauren says.
"We can do a lot in two hours." Camila smirks but she stops real fast when she hears a noise in the bushes. "What was that?"
"I don't know. I'll be back." Lauren says.
"Wait! You can't go by yourself." Camila says. Lauren laughs.
"Did you forget who I am?" She ask. "I'll be back babe."
Camila had been standing in that spot for what felt like years but in reality was probably about half a hour. When Lauren showed no signs of coming back Camila sat down. She wasn't going to leave until Lauren got back.
It's been a hour now and Lauren hasn't shown up. Camila would be worried but she knew better. Lauren could protect herself, if anything Camila is worried about whatever made that noise.
It was dark now and Camila was truly cold. Her hands had started to shake but she wasn't moving. She was going to wait for Lauren, not daring to go to sleep. Camila couldn't feel her lips she knew they were blue because her fingers were that color. Camila slowly put her head down it was becoming harder and harder to keep her eyes open. Finally they closed.
"Camz! Wake up." Lauren says. She found Camila in the same spot she had left her.
After she went to go find out where the noise came from she had got a little lost. Well not lost she just couldn't find her way back. She assumed Camila had went back to the safe house because it was getting dark, so when she walked into the safe house and everyone asking where Camila was she went into a panic.
"Babe come on wake up." Lauren says again. She had Camila wrapped up in a big blanket and laying in her lap. Camila started mumbling.
"Lo." Camila says. Lauren smiles.
"Hi Camz."
"Why did you leave me?"
"I didn't leave you babe. I promise I will never leave you. No matter what or where you are I will always be there for you." Lauren says. She kisses Camila's cheek.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
End of flashback
"How do you know about that?" Lauren ask.
"Because it was me. Lauren it's me the girl that almost froze to death waiting for you... the girl who you saved numerous times. The girl you loved." Camila says.
"Camila." James warns.
"Lauren I will not force you to stay if you don't believe find Madison." Camila says and Lauren almost faints.
"Maddie?" Lauren says. Camila nods.
"Camila shut the hell up!" James says. Lauren jumped at how aggressive he sounds.
"James?" She asks. "Is it true?"
"Lauren lets go." James says.
"Is it true?" Lauren says again. When James doesn't respond Lauren starts to cry.
"You lied to me. All of you lied to me." Lauren says.
"We need to set up a meeting." Camila says. James nods his head.
"I guess it's time." James says.
