I wake up to the sound of 'ooohhhh's coming from the Schuylers. "Shut up," I say groggily as I get off of Alexander. I have little memory of last night. All I remember is saying that Alex was hot. And....

Him saying that back.

My face turns red at the thought, which makes the Schuylers even more giddy. "SHUT UP!" I shout. "I didn't happen to bring a change of clothes, did I?"

"Nope. You were all waaayyyy to drunk to remember, and I didn't bother to tell you." says Eliza.

"Whatever. I'll just rewear this." I say, rubbing my eyes.

"Ewww." Peggy says, her face scrunching up.

Angelica grabs the car keys and goes to the door. "I'm going to get some Starbucks. Want anything?" she asks.

"Nah, I'm good. Still recovering from last night," I reply.

"K. See you in a bit!" she says, walking out the door.

"Sooooooooooo...." begins Peggy.

"What?" I say back. She nods her head towards Alex which makes blush even more. Eliza laughs from the other side of the room.

"Nothing happened! I just.... umm....."

"Confessed your love for him?" Eliza says. "Even though you barely know him?"

I sigh. "I just told him he was hot. And he kinda told me the same thing. Oh, I said that after he told me he was bi." I say, trying to find the right words and put them in the right order. I probably look like a cherry right now.

"So are you a thing now? Did you kiss and other romantic stuff?" Peggy says.

"Not that I can remember." They giggle again. "STOP! No, we didn't. Just, please, I don't even know if we're a thing yet." I say.

"Well, why don't we ask him?" Eliza says, pointing at the couch. Alexander is just starting to wake up. Peggy smiles mischeviously. I turn even redder.

Alexander yawns. "Good morning," he says, his eyes still half closed. "Wait, is that a huge cherry over there?" he says, squinting. The girls laugh, which makes me turn even redder. When will this torture stop?

"Nope, that's just John." Peggy says, still laughing.

"Though he does look like a cherry," Eliza added.

Both Alexander and I blush, which makes Eliza and Peggy burst out in a hideous laughter. Peggy is on the floor banging her fist against it when Angie comes with Starbucks.

"Hey guys, I'm back." She looks down. "Peggy?"

Still laughing, Peggy says "I'm fine."

"OK? Oh, Alex, you're awake. I got you an espresso if you want it," she says, setting the drinks down on the table.

"Oh, thanks," he says, walking over to the table.

I grab a box of cereal and some milk from the cupboard and sat next to him, filling 7 bowls. "You're ok with cereal for breakfast, right?" I ask him. He simply nods back while Peggy sits at the opposite end of the table, a miscevious look on her face.

"Sooo..... guys.... how's it going....." she says, holding laughter.

Alex and I look at each other. "Ok.....?" we say at the same time.

"Alexander.... how was last night?" Peggy says.

He blushes. "Umm.... it was great.... thanks for inviting me to sit with you...."

"You know that's not what I meant."

"Ummm..... it was.... fine? I guess?"

"Peggy, stop teasing them." Eliza says, grabbing a bowl of cereal. "We all know how it went."

"Ugghhhhhh...." me and Alex say at the same time. We blush.

"Huh? What are two gigantic cherries doing in this house?" Laf says as he comes down the stairs, Herc right behind him. The Schuylers giggle.

"Can you guys PLEASE STOP!" I say, putting my head in my hands.

"Oooohhhhh, what happened?" Herc says to the girls.

"NOTHING!" Alex and I say at the same time. More blushing.

They all laugh harder than I've seen them laugh. Ok, that's not true. But it's close.

"Anyway.... after breakfast, could you guys maybe show me to that one guy's office? What's his name...." Alex says, still red from all the blushing.

"Mr. Washington? Yeah, sure." Herc says, sitting down on the other side of me. "Oh, thanks for the drinks Peggy."

"Actually, that was me." Angie says.

"Oh. Thanks Angie." Herc replies.

We all talk about school while eating our breakfast. Apparently Alex is studying law. Angie's majoring in writing, Eliza in education, Laf in history, and Herc in design and Peggy in theatre arts. And of course, biology for me. Then we drive up to campus and Herc gives Alex a quick tour until we finally make it to Mr. Washington's office.

"Ah, hello my favori— I mean, my students! Are you ready for school to start tomorrow?" Washington asks.

There is a mixture of "no"s and "yes"s in response.

"Mr. Hamilton! That you, right?" he says, pointing at Alexander. "I have your information right here. It'll take us a minute to get everything straightened out," he says to us.

"That's fine. We can go get some food. Meet us at the front of campus when you're done," Angie says to Alex.

"OK," he replies. "Get some for me!"

We go to Arby's and get a bunch of curly fries. The best kind.

And when we get back, Alex is there. But he's not alone.
