Alex and I walk back to our dorm together in silence, holding each other's hand. I still can't believe he actually said he would go out with me after such a terrible delivery. I really thought Peggy would have come up with something better; normally she's good at this stuff. 

Once we are all ready to go the the Schuyler's house I stop. 

"C'mon, John, the rest are proably wondering what's taking us so long," Alex says. 

"Before we go," I start, "I want to actually ask you in a way that isn't stupid."

"John..." Alex says. 

I walk up to him and hold him in my arms. "Alex. You are an amazing person. You're so hardworking and funny and smart and just really nice to be around," I say looking him in the eyes. "I liked you the first time I laid eyes on you. That was only about a week ago. People can learn a lot in one week. Want to know what I have learned?" Alex opens his mouth, but I stop him. "I have learned that I truly do love you, and I want to be with you. So, will you be my boyfriend?" I ask him with no hesitation at all. 

"Yes," Alex states simply. He goes in to kiss me. 

I return the favor. 

We are interrupted by my phone buzzing in the back pocket of my pants. I let go of Alex and check it. There's a text from Herc.

IThinkYourPantsLookHot: Are you guys here yet? 

InThePlaceToBe: Obviously not. We're on our way now. 

LaBaugette: Hurry up, mon ami. I don't know how much longer I can stand Peggy's obsession over Starfire.

InThePlaceToBe: I mean, Starfire is the best character... 

LaBaugette: Don't be ridiculous. It's obviously Raven. 

IThinkYourPantsLookHot: Excuse me? CYBORG! 

InThePlaceToBe: This is Alex. I just wanted to say, Robin's the best. BYE 

LaBaugette: Can we all agree Beast Boy is the worst? 

InThePlaceToBe: Yes

IThinkYourPantsLookHot: Yes 

Looking up from my phone, I nod towards the door. "Let's go," I tell Alex, and we get into the car. Alex doesn't have his driver's license yet, so I drive us to the sister's house. We walk in right as Peggy is giving a speech on Starfire. 

"And her starbolts are just the best— oh, hey guys!" Peggy says, waving at us. Everyone else does the same. 

"Save us," Herc mouths to me. I smirk. 

"Oh, I totally agree Peggy. She's also so strong and fast and amazing and she has the most adorable personality," I say, still smirking. 

"THANK YOU!" She replies, throwing her arms in the air. 

Alex buts in. "I don't know guys, Robin is the leader. Plus there's so much charachter development and—"

"OH IT IS ON!" Jefferson screams. 

Everyone gets in a huge debate over which Teen Titan is the best. We even spilt up into groups, though in the end it was pretty much just Thomas and Alex debating over whether it's Raven and Robin. It's so stupid yet hilarious. I'm so glad I have these people in my life.
