"Carter! Did you or did you not meet Percy Jackson? " I stormed into my brother's room. He needed serious help. He looked at me as if I had found out his secret name which I actually had before (Long story).

"Yes." was his only reply. So unlike my brother who would ramble on and on about people, mythology and magic. This was the time for a staring competition. Guess who won 'Me'. He called everyone for a meeting in the terrace of the Brooklyn house. Nerve of my brother. He chose to ignore me. Seriously Carter is this your answer " Everyone assemble in the terrace."

The Brooklyn house or the twenty first nome or whatever you want to call it is our home. It is a five story mansion perched on the roof of graffiti painted huge factory warehouse. Like another layer of cake. The house is fifty feet tall built of enormous limestone blocks and steel frames walls. It is almost a cross between a modern museum and ancient temple.

Julian, Paul and few other guys had crashed on the sofa, watching Mickey Mouse with Shelby. She gave me a big smile. I was angry, irritated and what not. I headed to the library. The heavy Oak doors opened to a staircase which led to a cylindrical room. Cleo was sitting at the work table talking to Khufu. He sat on the square table grunting in Baboon. Probably " Hello Cleo wanna go for a walk". The Baboon had a weird fascination with things that ended with O. Like jello , Cleo and even flamingo.

"Don't you want to attend Carter's meeting?" I asked her. Probably she might not have heard him, listening to Khufu's grunts. She rushed to the terrace and so did Khufu. Had not my brother ignored me I would have been there next to him. All the best Carter. He might have led Gods and The House of Life against Apophis. But he is still nervous to address the initiates or most appropriately our friends. Well done brother.

Well my brother is not dumb. He knew how to lure me. He had sent Walt to the library. He wore a black muscle shirt , black leather jacket, black jeans and black Combat boots. He wore a shen amulet that matched mine. He did not ask me anything instead dragged me up the stairs. He simply could have summoned me through his amulet.

What did he think? I thought his intelligence, memory or whatever should have increased on merging with Anubis. Instead I find him growing dumber everyday. ( Personally I think he had fun dragging me up.) I forgot everything looking into his warm , brown eyes. Congratulations brother you know how to calm your sister.

Everyone were having dinner by the pool. Philip of Macedonia was enjoying himself eating the bacon thrown into the pool by Jaz. Jaz and Carter were engrossed in a serious conversation. Alyssa and Julian made weird faces to entertain Shelby. Felix had made a group of penguins suddenly appear. It has been our daily routine to transport those penguins to Antarctica through portals. Why else do you think the number of penguins in Antarctica has increased suddenly.

I took my seat between Carter and Walt. I was about to ask Carter the same question again. "Not now. We will discuss later", whispered Walt. I turned to question him. But was interrupted by my brother highness. These two were playing some game.

"I know our vacation ends today and we have to go to school from tomorrow. Let's live the life of a normal teenager as long as possible." , addressed Carter. "Seriously man. You asked us to assemble for telling this. We were scared something serious happened.", told Jaz. My brother nodded. I knew he was thinking about something serious. I could tell it by studying his behavior. He was fidgeting his spoon with his fingers. Something he does when he is nervous. He turned to me. I understood he wanted our friends to remain happy and lead a carefree life as long as possible. We all had went through a lot of things. He pleaded through his eyes "Later". I nodded and munched on my hamburger. Having a big day ahead we all went to take a nap.
