Annabeth-Percy

"It was a narrow escape", mumbled Annabeth. If Sadie had not been there something worse than Hera would have happened. She boarded a bus and rode to the nearest subway station. She climbed in the F train to Percy's place. If she had not encountered the weird three headed monster she would have reached Percy's place 2 hours ago. In that case she also would not have met the Kane sister.

She thanked gods. She had not told Percy that she would arrive at his place. Else he would have been worried. She was sure he is disappointed of her refusal to a movie earlier that day. She walked into his apartment (his mother's to be specific). Sally was delighted to see her. She seemed quite healthy. "How are you doing?" asked Annabeth. "I am doing fine but I know someone is very disappointed", replied Sally meekly.

Annabeth found Percy sulking on the couch. When he saw her he shook his head and wondered " Are you really there Wise girl? " Poor Percy could not believe his eyes. Annabeth had really come. He was more than happy. Unable to contain his happiness he rushed to her and hugged her.

"That is not how you surprise someone Annabeth. I am the fun and a tiny bit irresponsible one. But you milady are the serious one. I always thought you would rub on me and not the other way around. One point to Perseus Jackson." said the boy with excitement." Are you implying that I should not have come here? If that is the case I will leave.", said Annabeth with a smile. Percy hugged her once again.

"Let's go to the movie some other day since it's already late and I am sure Sally's pancakes will satisfy my appetite. But first I need to tell you about my encounter with Sadie. She is TBWUSN's (the boy whom you shouldn't name) sister." and Annabeth told Percy about their encounter with Serapis a hybrid Egyptian and Greek God.

She knew Percy would believe her for he had met Sadie's brother. If Percy speaks his name he would appear. Well at least that is what had Percy told her. That is how they had come up with the name TBWYSN. Initially when Percy told her about the boy with Falcon avatar she thought Hecate kids might be messing with him. But she believed him when he told about Sobek. She had done a little research on Egyptian gods that day. But her encounter with Serapis made her realize something dangerous is brewing behind their backs. She told Percy that they would leave to CHB the next day to discuss the situation with Chiron. Percy agreed. But he was also eagerly waiting to meet the Falcon boy again who was similar to Annabeth in many ways.

Percy saw something which made him hesitate. He thought Annabeth is some monster in disguise for she had her blade which she had lost in Tartarus. That place still gave him nightmares. Annabeth followed Percy's gaze and understood what he was wondering. It is not uncommon for demigods to assume there are monsters around. One can't tell where they can encounter a monster.

The day before she heard that the whole of Indianapolis was evacuated. Apollo as Lester was there trying his best to solve the problem of the Oracle. At least that is what she had heard. She told Percy of how Sadie's wand became her celestial bronze dagger when she held it. Percy was in denial. She shouted "It's me Seaweed brain." That was enough. Percy knew it was her.
