Bellamy pulled her off to the side, shielding her view from the village - her view of her mother. She couldn't tell if she was more upset or angry, her emotions were jumbled and nothing seemed real anymore. She lost her father, her brother and now her mother. Bellamy pushed her hair out of her face, stray tears lingering on her cheeks as he did so. "You need to calm down, Amethyst breathe," he said quietly locking eyes with the girl.

"She was all I had," Amethyst said suddenly, her voice cracking. She took a deep breath and used the back of her hand to wipe away the stray tears. "I need to go," she finally said making Bellamy look down to her shocked. "What?"

"I'm leaving. No point in staying the night if I have no one to say with," she said grabbing her bag that was on the ground and slinging it over her shoulder. "Amethyst wait-" Octavia started making the women shake her head. "I need to get to Mt. Weather, Clarke said it herself, my people are there; Lincoln could be there. So i'll be damned if he has to go through that alone." she said sternly, grabbing a handful of arrows out of one of the fallens quiver.

She was finally walking away from the group when she passed Finn. She stopped in her tracks and stared up at him with a cold stare. "You know, we were fine down here until you showed up and started shooting down villages," she said before hiking her bag up higher and gracefully pulling herself up onto her horse. "This time, don't come looking for me. I need to do this," Amethyst said without looking over her shoulder and rushing off into the forest towards the mountain her and her people tried to avoid.

"Amethyst wait!" Octavia called, trying to run after the women. Bellamy placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a sad smile. "Not this time O," he said softly, he understood the fact that his sister wanted to be with someone who made her feel protected and important. "She shouldn't be alone," Octavia protested making Clarke shake her head. "She just lost her mother Octavia, give her some time to grieve," the girl said softly, as they all watched the grounder leave once again, she was never in one space for too long.

The group left back towards camp jaha, no one saying a word to Finn as they went. Bellamy stood for a moment longer, part of him expecting Amethyst to come back - but her knew she wouldn't. By the time Amethyst stopped again, the sky was glittering with stars, and her eyes felt heavy from the tears she held back. She stumbled off the horse and lent against the closest tree for support. "I'm done," she whispered, digging her fingers into the bark of the tree.

"I can't keep doing this," she muttered. "I can't keep running, I have nowhere to go, no one left to find," she added, slowly sinking to her knees. A tear fell from her eye, making her instantly wipe it away. But it was no use.

Tear after tear fell, and she couldn't hold them back anymore. "I give up!" she screamed through her sobs. "I have no one! Nothing! You took my mother! My father! My brother! I can't do this anymore!" she screamed, slamming her fist against the forest floor.

Amethyst was exhausted. She was tired of running, tired of hunting. She wanted to have a reason to smile, and know how to love. She wanted to wake up every day in a warm bed and not have to worry about when and if she was going to go hungry. Amethyst wanted to have something stable in this unstable worlds and she wanted a break. She carried the weight of an important title, and the curse of nightblood. Amethyst wanted it to all stop for a second, she needed it to.

Suddenly she felt the cold wet snout of her horse against her cheek bringing her back to reality. "You're right, we should find somewhere to settle for the night," she whispered, wiping away her tears and slowly standing of wobbling knees. She leant against the horse for support, the two walking into the night to find somewhere to settle for the night.

Bellamy laid awake in the Ark, looking out the small window in his room and sighing. The stars looked so different on earth than they did in space, but they never failed to take him breath away. He hardly ever looked at the stars, he never had the time. But right now, he wanted to lay out in his tent from camp and look up at them through the small opening in the top. It was his favourite thing to do when he was alone and the wind swayed the sides of the tent in the night. Nights were always his favourite, preferably the nights he was alone and got to sleep early not having to worry where everyone was and what they were doing. Nights were always his favourite, but he couldn't understand why he couldn't sleep tonight.

Slowly, he stood up from his bed and peaked his head out door, looking both ways before softly closing the door behind him. He walked as quietly as he could down the metal hallways and hid behind doors when guards would come close to him. Finally, after what seemed like a five mile hike later, he was outside and under the stars. "What are you doing out here big brother?" Octavia asked making her brother jump slightly.

The teenage girl smirked and crossed her arms over her chest. "Couldn't sleep i guess," he replied, stuffing his hands into the deep pockets of his jacket. "What about you?" he asked looking over to his sister in the dark before looking back up to the stars. "I'm waiting for Raven to turn off the fence so i can get the hell out of here," Octavia said casually. "Where do you plan on going?" Bellamy asked, but he already knew where his sister was going to go.

Octavia would follow Amethyst to the ends of the world. Amethyst was the first person to not treat Octavia like she was a mistake, or like she was a child. No, amethyst was the one to see the potential in the girls small build and the fire behind her curious eyes. Amethyst saw a warrior, one of the strongest on earth, and she was going to make sure none of that went to waste. The two had a bond that no one would ever come to understand. Amethyst had already sacrificed so much for Octavia, and was walking on a thin line with being caught betraying her people. "No one should be alone right now," Octavia finally replied after a small silence lingered over the two.

"I'm coming with you, we'll go first thing in the morning," Bellamy replied without thinking. He didn't know why he wanted to help Amethyst so much. But there was something about her vague responses and cold eyes that drew him in. The fact she did nothing but help them for months when all they did was tear down and destroy her home. There was just something about the grounder that he couldn't put his finger on, but he wanted to find out what.

Octavia nodded and turned to go back inside. She placed her hand on her brothers shoulder and gave it a slight squeeze. Neither of them spoke a word, they didn't need to; they knew. Bellamy nodded in response before sighing. He never tore his gaze from the stars above, the world seemed so vast and endless with the sky dancing with stars. After a few more minutes, Bellamy walked back inside and went to his room undetected. He laid on his back, arm over his stomach as he looked outside at the sky. A small smile lingering on his lips as he wished upon a shooting star.

Amethyst laid in a cave, leaning against her sleeping horse for a form of warmth. Her eyes were trained on the stars in the sky. A small hole in the cave making it easy to stargaze at this hour. A small smile on her lips as she wished upon a shooting star, just like her mother always told her to do when she was a little girl.
