Chapter 13- Necromancy

Now onto the story. (little warning, you might want to read this in two parts because it's a very, very long chapter)

I'm sitting in Ambrose's room, talking to him. Ever since I got here I've been so fed up with Sabrina I barely even talked to him. I decided that now that I have Sabrina it's a good idea to talk more with him. He must be bored anyway, having house arrest.

"I'm going to try and relieve my sentence,"

"Seriously?"

"Luke says he has connections to the high priest and will talk to him,"
Luke is his new boyfriend. I'm so happy for the both of us. It wasn't likely that either of us would get in a relationship because I'm pretty much a monster and he can't even leave the house.

"Ambrose that's great! I really hope this works out for you," Ambrose blushes, "Ambrose you're in love aren't you?!"

"Luke is amazing," So that's a yes.
We giggle over his smitten face.

Then Aunt Zelda comes walking in with a troubled look on her face.

"There's been a mining accident. They don't know if.." I didn't let her finish. I rushed to Sabrina's room.
She jumped when I swung the door open. She could see something was wrong.

"Sabrina, there's been an accident at the mines,"
Her eyes widen in shock. She runs downstairs, almost tumbling down because of the insane speed.

I hear Zelda before Sabrina storms out of the house.
"Run Sabrina. And pray to Satan he's alright,"

When she's been gone for an hour I decide to go after her.
I arrive at the mines to see an insane amount of people hurdled around the entrance.
I scan the site to look for either Harvey or Sabrina. With my demon eyes I quickly spot the aura of a witch.

I walk over to see Harvey almost crying and Sabrina trying to calm him down.
Harvey spots me first and then Sabrina follows.

Harvey and I haven't really been in good terms lately because Sabrina left him for me. We've talked but it was hard not to start a fight.

"Hey, is everyone okay?" I ask.
Harvey seems too bothered to answer so Sabrina jumps in.

"His brother hasn't come out yet,"

"You have a brother?" I ask him. He seems confused by my sudden interest in his personal life.

"Yeah I do. His name is Tommy,"

"And he was in the mines when everything collapsed?"

"Yes," Is all Harvey can bring out when he thinks back to the moment the mines went down.

"Well there's still a chance he could come out. I bet he's strong and smart enough to make it," I say.

Sabrina looks at me in utter confusion. I bet she's shocked by my sudden outburst of affection but she has no idea why.
Harvey on the other hand seems reassured by my words.

I turn to Sabrina.
I swallow before saying something that's really hard for me.

"He needs all the support he can get. I get it if you want to stay with him until there's any news about his brother,"

"Really? You'll let me stay with him?"

I swallow one more time.

"Yes. Now I'll go before I change my mind. Good luck Harvey,"
And with that I turn around feeling a little uneasy but also nostalgic.
