S3 Chapter 1- Heavy Wears The Crown

"My Queen, I have received news about planet 48. Queen Mescena sent you a message. Your invasion to kill the king was successful and Mescena has taken over," My servant bows down and I wave him away.

Good. Lately, men have been taking thrones on multiple planets and almost every time it happens that planet suffers. As Queen of basically the entire universe, it's my duty to do something about it, which means I'm always busy. I wish I could just relax but no, there come the newcomers.

Newly dead people. They come here and I see what their place is going to be. I lean back on my throne and put one leg over the side while I put my head in one of my hands.

After everyone is selected I finish up some work and I head to my room only to be stopped by one of my maids.

"What's the matter?" I ask the maid. A black cloth covers most of her face and a black dress covers her body. She has bright green eyes with pretty lashes. I think I've seen her before.

"You seem tired my Queen," She says with a hint of mischief in her voice.
Normally maids aren't supposed to be talking to me so the fact that she speaks up for such a pity thing startles me. I don't mind though. I think it's ridiculous that they're treated like some kind of slaves, I didn't even ask for it, they just got assigned to me like I can't even put on my own clothes or wash myself.

"I am kinda tired actually," I smile at her.

"After all your hard work you deserve a break,"

"Were you perhaps already thinking of something?"

"As a matter of fact, I was. Follow me," She grabs my wrist and leads me through the hallways.
I've never met a maid this bold, I can't help but obey, she intrigues me too much.

We arrive at a waterfall, nearly hidden between the rocks. She leads me through it and behind the waterfall are natural baths in between the rocks and plants. It's eye-pleasing and calming.

"You should take a calming bath My Queen. It would replenish you for sure!" She exclaims as she pulls me along with her to one of the baths. I can not believe we are doing this. Going to such a place with a maid, especially as queen, is strictly forbidden but yet here we are, and I do not mind.

"My dearest maid. You know sneaking around like this with your Queen is forbidden right? You could get executed," I explain to her. She acts as if there are no consequences to us being here. It makes my heart filled with worry for the pretty-eyed girl in front of me.

"No one knows of this place My Queen, besides, it is my sacred duty as your maid to make sure you are being taken care of so technically I am doing my job," She takes off the black cloth covering half her face and smiles at me. She is truly mesmerizing, I could look at her forever.

She takes off the dress and walks behind me. I feel her tugging at my dress as well. I do not know what is happening to me. I feel like my blood is rushing quickly throughout my entire body. I feel tense and disoriented. This is what I have heard stories of, liking someone in a romantic way. But she is a woman, romantic relationships between women are strictly forbidden and it could cost her her life. But on the other hand, we are already doing something forbidden and nothing bad has happened yet. 

The dress is nearly sliding off my shoulders but I stop her. 

"What is the matter, My Queen? You are not ashamed of your body, are you? You are being washed by maiden pretty often,"

"This is different,"

"How come?"

"I feel different when I am being exposed to you," I explain embarrassed. My cheeks flush a bright blue. 

I feel the maid continuing taking off my dress as she kisses my shoulder.

"Do not fret, My Queen. I think you are the most beautiful being I have ever laid eyes upon,"

The dress drops on the ground and I feel the cold air nipping away at my skin as a shiver goes down my spine. Something like this has never happened to me before. It's like adrenaline is spreading throughout my entire body, and I don't know what to do about it.

My thoughts are interrupted however when I feel the maid grab my hand again and lead me into the bath. She makes sure I don't trip on the slippery rocks and get in the water safely. This is the first time someone has looked after me, it makes me smile without my knowing. 

Here I am. In a secret place in hell, bathing naked with a maid I do not know the slightest. Even though I know this is wrong I so desperately want to stay like this and see what will happen.

"We are here bathing together in secret and I do not even know your name. Please tell me," I ask.

"I am just maid 13," She smiles sadly at me.

"You must have a real name too,"

"Not really,"

"I will give you one then,"

"Really?" she chuckles.

"Of course. How about.... Persephone?"

"Persephone? That is a beautiful name. I am not sure I am worthy to wear it,"

"It is indeed a beautiful name, that is why I want you to have it. You are the most charming being I have ever met...Persephone,"

She blushes and boldly makes her way through the water to me. 

"You are good to me, My Queen. I am afraid I can no longer hold my secret to myself. Ever since I have been assigned as your maid I have been watching you work. One day after torturing the sinners I saw you walking towards the garden and talking to the animals there. You might be the Queen of Evil but you are kind at heart in some way. You are so appealing to me, I am afraid I have developed...romantic, feelings for you," 

I don't know what to say. I can't believe someone would ever be attracted to a monster like me. 

When the realization of me not immediately rejecting her sinks in she closes the last bit of space between us by placing herself on my lap. As I grow hot she holds my face in her hands and kisses me. It felt like something inside of me exploded. Like I could feel every good thing in the universe flowing through my veins. My head was empty, all I could feel was that weird pit in my stomach and her soft lips on mine. As she is about to pull away I push her back into me as if it was a reflex. 

This was the Devil's first kiss. 

And as the kiss went on in that bath I realized my feelings for this bold maid. I was falling in love with her.

A/N

This is a flashback to your backstory. It will eventually explain why hell is the way it is now. I hope this will be a good intro for.....S3!!!! I am watching season 3 right now and as I am watching I am also continuing this story. We will get back to Sabrina and y/n when the flashback chapters are done. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it!
