Cindy's POV
It's been two weeks since that cliff drama and people are still talking about it. When we got back Ella had already heard the news and seen the clip of the whole drama but she asked me anyway and I told her all that happened and all she said was “Wow Kevin really loves you” she said and I had asked why and she said it was because Kevin never risks his life in order to save someone he doesn't love. That has been on my mind for days.
I'm also friends with Kevin's friends too, turns out they are not as bad as rumours paint them to be. And then there's Kevin, I am not sure if I should just agree to be his girlfriend but then again I don't want anything happening to him because of me. Did I forget to tell you that Steve saw the clip too? At first he was happy that I'm alive and then he became angry because Kevin was holding me which led to him shouting at me and then another one of his ways to show me that I'm his. Yeah the bastard raped me. But I'm over it now tho.
“Hey can I sit here?” I heard a familiar voice and looked up to see Karl. This is kinda strange Karl would normally just sit without asking. “Can I?” ok I heard right. I nodded and as he sat down I noticed his sad face.
“Is everything ok?” I asked and he forced a smile.
“It's fine it's just that um” he swallowed and I offered him my soda which he took a sip from and returned it, surprising. “Kevin, he's uh sick like really sick and we are going to his house after school, wanna come?” he said and my heart did a free fall down to the pit of my stomach.
“Sure ” I managed and he nodded. “And why is Ella not in school either?” I asked
“She's taking care of him” he said and I nodded. “Oh and umm just incase anyone asks they are out on a family meeting in Berkeley and would be back by Monday” He added and I gave him a look. “Just incase anyone asks you, ok?” he said and I sighed and nodded.
“Hey fellas” Nikki said as she joined us.
“Gotta run, I've God basketball practice” he told me and left.
“So you and Kevin hunh?” she said wriggling her brows suggestively.
“We are not dating, I've told you before” I said and rolled my eyes.
“Well that's not what the rumors said.” she said and I gave her a questioning look.
“So what do these rumors say” I asked and she sighed.
“That you and Kevin are dating some even said dat your fucking his friends too seeing as you're always around them, but I think it's just the jelous ones” OMG someone help me pick my jaw from the table. “Well, for me, I think you're dating Kevin but the other shit, nope, I know you a little but from what I know I'm pretty sure you're not a hoe” she said and smile at me and I was about to reply when the bell went off. “ Let's get going we've got Spanish together” she said and I nodded as we both stood up. “By the way I didn't see Ella and Kevin in school today”
“They are on a family trip to Berkeley” I said and she looked puzzled and I shrugged.“Let's just go to class and by Monday you'd get to see them” I said and she nodded.

After school I went to meet up with the guys and they kinda looked sad but quickly smiled when I came around, it's like Kevin is worse than I thought.
We all got into Gabe's SUV with Gabe driving, Liam in front and at the back was Karl, Max and me.
We got on the road and the car was so quiet, like unusually quite.
“So, what's really wrong” I asked.
“Kevin is really sick” Liam said “So we are going to his house to bore him with school stuff” he added with a forced smile “And also to see how he's doing”
“That's nice” I said and then I noticed we just drove past the road that leads to his house.“But why aren't we going to his house?” I asked.
“Ok fine, he's in the hospital and that's where we are going, just to check up on him” Max said and I frowned.
“It's that bad?” I asked and Karl let out a humourless laugh.
“It's just a stab wound, no biggie” he said and closed his eyes, it was then that I realized that it was so bad that they were all hoping Kevin doesn't die.
“STAB WOUND?” I shouted and then the others gave Karl a look that said ‘why won't you just shut the fuck up retard’ and he shrank a little in his seat, bitting his lower lip, it would have been cute if I wasn't freaking out. “How did he get stabbed?, No no no, it's not true” I grabbed Max's hand. “Is it?” he nodded and sighed.
“We're here” Gabe said as he parked the car,
In the hospital's reception Gabe walked up to the counter and asked for Kevin's ward but he was told that they can't give him any details about him considering the circumstances surrounding his injury.
“I guess our journey was in vain” he said and shrugged.
“I've been calling Ella but she's not picking, I'm really worried” Max said and we looked at him like, hello Kevin is the sick one here.“About them” he added. “What, I'm worried about both of them, Ella never ignores my calls is that not something to be worried about, what if he's worse and she's all alone crying or something like that?” it's really hard for him to redeem himself so he ran his fingers through his hair, “Well, fuck it, Cindy come with me” he said and pulled me to the counter.
“Good day miss” he said to the receptionist.“My friend is here, Kevin Dickson, he was stabbed and we would like to know his ward please” he said politely and I nodded.
“Oh I already told your friend, I'm sorry but it's only his blood relatives that are allowed to visit him in his condition” she said and I gasped.
“Is he going to be alright” I said before I could stop myself.
“See his girlfriend has been so worried ” wait I'm the only girl here so I guess I'm playing the girlfriend.
“I'm so sorry, but I can't go against the hospital's policies.” she said looking kind of sorry and Max nodded.
“Thanks anyway” he said and just as we were going back to meet the guys his face lit up.“Ella” he called out and it was then I noticed a blonde haired girl at the water fountain . She turned around and spotted us and she ran into Max's arms and started sobbing. The other guys came to meet us and then Max pulled her back a little to wipe her tears. I gave her a tissue And she blew her nose in it and sniffled. “It's alright babe, Kevin would be fine,ok?” he said soothingly but we all knew that that's what he hoped for.
“ No he's not fine” she cried“He hasn't woken up since yesterday,” my heart sank, he's in coma?
“Ok let's just go and see him, first” Karl suggested and we all agreed .
He was in a private ward when we got to his ward. He looked so pale I gasped.
“How did this happen?” I asked and Ella sobbed some more I felt my eyes well up.
“I don't know, they called me around 11pm yesterday and told me to come to the hospital.” she sobbed
“This is bad” I said and went to sit beside him on a chair. “What really happened Kevin?” I said and rested my head on the bed and suddenly he screamed.
Kevin's POV
I'm taking a walk to clear my head an suddenly some hoe walks up to ke and starts hitting on me, normally I'd go along with it just to get uj her pants but, I want Cindy alone and no one else, but I'd never admit it to anyone.
“You are so hot baby, follow me to my room” wow that was too direct, maybe she's drunk.
“Hey get your hand off me” i said and peeled her off my body and immediately a guy came rushing towards me.
“You're fucking my bitch?” he said angrily and I was kinda surprised.
“Maybe you should put a leash on the hoe so she doesn't go around begging random strangers for sex” and the guy roared and as I tried to push past him and keep moving but o felt a sharp pain as a cold metal penetrated my abs and I cried out. The guy looked kinda shocked or I don't even know the pain was too much to bear my eyes stung. The hoe saw me and screamed as she took to her heels, the bastard followed her and I was left in the alley all alone in a pool of my own blood and as I dailed 911 all I thought of was Cindy and that was wen I realized that I was whipped. I mean I'm dying here and all I can think of is her. I saw some lights before everything went black.
I woke up to familiar voices, I can't make them out, I tried opening my eyes but it won't budge, I tried calling for help but it's like I didn't have control over my body. I heard Cindy's voice and then she touched me and I felt bad because I couldn't touch her too, and she was crying, I'm ok I tried to say but my lips stayed put. And then she layed her head on my wound and I felt the pain come back but this time it was twice as painful as it felt when I was stabbed and I screamed, and luckily my lips moved.
OMG Kevin was stabbed, was it Steve? Or was it just a coincidence. I hope for Steve's sake it was a coincidence 😠, I have a personal crush on Kevin's character ahhh 🤫.
