Chapter 14: Between a rock and a hard place.

3rd POV:

Several days later....

Blaze returned to the flight deck about to set off on a solo flight remembering the events of days ago. Transforming into her jet mode, she takes off leaving the Nemesis behind in an attempt for a well needed time to be alone.

Once a good distance away from both the Nemesis and the ground, Blaze transforms again and into her Dragon form to let her real wings take to the feeling of the air and clouds the sky above.

Enjoying the feeling of being out and about she becomes enchanted by the feeling of the sun on her back and activates her overdrive mode allowing her to travel through the air at amazing speeds by the flames of her lit tail acting like the turbine of a jet plane.

Moments later, Blaze received a comm link call from Megatron.

- " Blaze, come back to the warship. Your assistance is required."- Megatron requested.

-" Yes, right away my Lord.."- Blaze said turning around, huffing a sigh of annoyance when she ended the comm link call.

Transforming into her jet mode again, Blaze goes the rest of the way towards the Nemesis, enjoying the rest of her flight to the best of her ability. Upon arriving she spots Soundwave on the flight deck waiting for her.

She lands and transforming once again and walks up to Soundwave sizing him up, using her abilities to find out if he knows anything about the flight her and Starscream went on several days prior. Finding out what she wanted to know, satisfied that he knows nothing about it, she nods and walks past him, while he follows right behind her afterwards.

Immediately after she arrives at the main room on the Nemesis, Megatron approaches her.

" Blaze I want you to accompany me and Starscream to an abandoned Energon mine." Megatron said in an authoritative manner.

" Abandoned Energon mine? Why go there if it's abandoned..., I am sure there's nothing left there by the sound of it my Lord." Blaze questions unsure of the answer.

" I plan on having you as my witness when I terminate Starscream once and for all." The Warlord explained, unaware that Blaze and Starscream are now friends and the White Femme would do anything to protect her new friend at all costs, of course with a plan to keep Megatron from knowing anything about said friendship.

" Oh. Of course, when do we depart?" Blaze asked calmly even though she is internally freaking out that her friend is in danger.

" We depart 15 minutes from now, so you can refuel after the long flight you had if needed." Megatron replied.

" All right 15 minutes it is then.." Blaze responded walking away.

15 minutes later...

Blaze walks out to the flight deck, Megatron and Starscream waiting there, and the three transform setting off to the abandoned mine. Blaze noting that Starscream most likely knows nothing about where they are heading.

Blaze's POV:

About an hour later, Megatron, Starscream and I arrived at the cave that we set off to, as soon as we transformed and landed in front of the entrance at the place, my senses kicked in and I get the feeling that we're not the only ones here.

Zoning out a bit to focus on the energy I'm picking up, I find that there are two Autobots here and two out of three children here with them as well.

'If I am not mistaken, the life energy I'm sensing here belongs to.... Arcee,Bulkhead, Jack and Miko. - Sigh- What are they doing here?' I think to myself getting irritated finally realizing that no matter where anybody among the Decepticons are the Autobots are already there or will be there shortly.
