A/N: This is based off of the episode Stronger, Faster and I will not be completely following the episode entirely for the purpose of this chapter and the rest of the book.
3rd POV:
A week or so after obtaining the formula for the synthetic Energon, although incomplete, Ratchet is seen at the medical part of the main room checking out a sample himself and Blaze have been working on the past week.
(Flashback)
Ratchet's POV:
' I'm going to need this and that to start on the development of the Synthetic Energon. Hopefully Bulkhead won't break any of the equipment I'll surely need this time.' I said to myself unaware of the attention I was drawing towards myself.
" Good afternoon Ratchet, I see you're preparing to generate the Synthetic Energon." Blaze greeted walking up behind me, slightly startling me.
'Good afternoon to you too, Blaze, and yes I am preparing to make a sample of the synthen." I reply greeting her back.
'She has come a long way since she became a fellow Autobot. Still has that cold and stoic demeanor at times but that is how she is by nature, though she had shown many times she is a kind Femme on the inside even if she doesn't show it. I am sure Optimus would agree with that.' I caught myself thinking amazed at how much the White Seeker Femme has changed since leaving the Decepticons.
I glance toward Blaze again to see her studying the partially written out formula without any trace of being confused by it.
"Ratchet did you want any help with the Synthen project? I happen to know quite a bit about both chemistry and biology." Blaze offers and I find myself unusually impressed with the fact she knows so much about what I have been dealing with so far, though I never had any doubts, knowing how intelligent Blaze is, she has demonstrated that intellect many times before in many different situations.
'I don't have any objections. For a matter of fact I will admit that I'll be honored to work with someone who was able to out smart us and the Decepticons alike before and can and will do it again if they wanted to. Maybe we can figure out what is missing here and finish the Synthetic Energon in a timely manner.' I tell her and her Light Blue optics light up at the opportunity.
(End flashback)
Blaze's POV:
While Ratchet and I were preparing to test out the small sample of some of the starting product we had made, I see Raf climbing up to where we were standing and watching what we were doing.
'Ratchet, I think we have a visitor.' I say pointing at Raf.
"Hi Blaze. Hi Ratchet." Raf said greeting us both.
"Hello Rafael." Ratchet greeted back and I give a small smile greeting back.
"Is that Synthetic Energon?" Raf asks curiously.
'Yes,it is.' I confirm enthusiastically.
"In fact Blaze and I are preparing to test the sample. I see that you'd come with protective goggles." Ratchet claims.
"I can watch?" Raf said excitedly stepping forward to watch the experiment.
"We'll just add to this test engine.." Ratchet said demonstrating the current use of the Synthetic Energon and the machine starts running off the small dose of Synthen it was given.
"It works! Bee!" Raf exclaims calling Bumblebee over in excitement seeing the Synthen working on the small machinery.
' Hey now, Raf not so fast...' I say to him knowing the project is no where near finished yet.
