You waited at the dining table with a cup in your hands. You were drinking tea as you waited for your husband to come back from the battle. You heard that Alexander was returning today. You took a sip of your tea and sighed. You hoped he would be in all one piece when he came back. Soon you heard the front door open and the familiar voice of a young man you loved.

"Honey, I'm home!" Alexander announced happily of his arrival. You quickly sat down your cup on the table and left the dining room. You ran into Alexander's arms excitedly. You embraced him tightly and he returned the warm embrace. You felt that he had been gone for too long and your emotions you kept buried deep inside you came bursting out into silent tears. Your eyes were watering and you could feel that you were wetting his clothes.

"Oh, I missed you!" you exclaimed. He quietly hushed you as he petted your hair. He listened to your gentle whimpers as you tried to keep yourself from sobbing.

"Shhh...I know, I know," he said gently with a smile. He pulled you away from him and wiped your tears away before kissing your forehead. You giggled in return.

"What have you been doing while I was away?" he asked.

"Waiting for you to come back," you replied in a small voice. He chuckled before pecking your lips.

"Well, I'm here now so what would you like to do?" he asked.

"Spend the rest of the day with you at home," you responded with a smile. He hummed before kissing you. The soft kiss quickly turned passionate. It was obvious he missed you as well. He pulled you closer to him by your waist and you wrapped your arms around his shoulders. Your fingers intertwined with his tangled hair, careful to not pull too hard. You two separated to breathe for a moment. You were about to say something, but Alexander went back to kissing you. Whatever thought you had washed away and you succumbed to your hidden desires. He then moved from your lips to your neck. He peppered your skin with light kisses and you giggled at his affections.

"S-So soon? You just g-got back," you stuttered out. A blush made its way to your cheeks. Alexander chuckled against your skin which sent a pleasant shiver throughout your body.

"But can't we?" he asked before take your earlobe between his teeth and nibbling on it.

"I-I suppose we can..." you murmured as you suppressed a whimper. He smirked. For the next hour, he'll have you under him and all to himself. What a great way to welcome your husband from war.
