DIFFICULT DREAMS
Busting my ass to get somewhere special,
to where I want to stand.
Blocked off of all opportunities,
trying my best to keep going.
Losing my own mother's support,
well, I never really acquired it.
She will never admit her mistakes
all I can really do is hope for what I know will never happen.
Sad to think I will never be equal to my brother...
a male.
I will work with all I can give to stand where I belong.
My dream will be a reality that will break my own expectations.
One day it will be my life.
One day it will me my truth.
